Right I have no idea if any of these have been posted before now but ive been thinking about them for a while so here we go:
1: T2/pod upgrades for a price, this could include maybe +1 to warp strength and possibly a slightly quicker allign time.
Now I understand the up and downsides to this but i think if they were priced at a high ish price then they could be useful to help people keep implants and would be a nice kill if you actually got one. Also you would "upgrade" like a clone.
2: Ship keys/codes - in this era of meta gaming there are to many thieves and people who are non trustworthy now i would like to be able to eject from my ship inside a pos shields and know its going to be there when i get back.
I know about ship maint arrays ect but thats not allways possible, but with useing a code/password/key then i could pass it on to who ever needed to move or use it
Theres good and bad things about the above points but i think it could make things a little interesting? what you thnk? Ñ°v h¬vT t¦ =¬tO¦t thÇ ¦sºt t° ¬h¬±gF thÇ âvtn«O |

Lockable Ships might be a good Idea, but then we'd probably see locked Hulks floating everywhere in Roid-Hung Systems.

Didnt think about that, maybe limit it to one "locked" ship per toon, or only on certain ship types maybe Ñ°v h¬vT t¦ =¬tO¦t thÇ ¦sºt t° ¬h¬±gF thÇ âvtn«O |

limiting it to ship type would only result in a large number of arguements about why each ship should be lockable/ non locable.
Limiting it to one per character does not make any sense either.
Another option based on the orginal idea behind the need for this. introduce a new POS module to act as an anchor. They you anchor and lock your ship. This would only work while the POS's sheild is operating in non re-inforced mode, this way if some destroys the POS or it runs out of fuel the ships can still be taken. Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congrated by carebears for the actions. |

no, because in doing so, you remove an entire profession. there are people out there who make their ISK scanning down abandoned ships. - PvPers always say "GB2WoW". the message is that EVE is hard, and people just need to deal with it. wasn't it funny how when nano's started making it hard for *them*, that all went out the window? |

The anchoring idea is great puts a new light on what i was on about........i suppose it would/could solve the issue.
As for people not being able to scan down ships is wrong becase not everyone has access to a pos to anchor :D Ñ°v h¬vT t¦ =¬tO¦t thÇ ¦sºt t° ¬h¬±gF thÇ âvtn«O |

Greetings, Originally by: UnShavenMonkey 1: T2/pod upgrades for a price, this could include maybe +1 to warp strength and possibly a slightly quicker allign time.
Personally, I would have to say no. It is already too easy for a pod to escape if the pilot pays attention to the game. The only people it would help are those who don't pay attention to their environment. Finally, it would solve nothing.
Quote: 2: Ship keys/codes - in this era of meta gaming there are to many thieves and people who are non trustworthy now i would like to be able to eject from my ship inside a pos shields and know its going to be there when i get back.
So you either don't trust your corp mates, which is your problem, or your corp is in the habit of giving out PoS shield passwords, which is your corp's problem. This proposal would solve neither of those problems, and would in fact be abused if it could be used outside of a PoS.
Originally by: UnShavenMonkey As for people not being able to scan down ships is wrong becase not everyone has access to a pos to anchor :D
Wrong. Anyone and everyone can scan down ships just as anyone and everyone has access to a POS. The simple fact is that most players choose not to anchor a POS or explore.
Both your proposal and this one point to issues that you either have with your corps or your corps have, and would in fact have some very serious impact on the game overall. Were I either of you, I would really look closely at your reasons for proposing them.

as for t2 pods I'll sign that (clone cost is over 7 mil base cost let alone implants =s)
CCP please look at mining agent mining mission %..... I want better than 60% mining missions from a mining agent =( |

Yeah, I'd sign to hackable parked ships.. with bugular alarms if the hacking is failed miserably.. (calls in concord).. ;-) This would prevent the spamming of hulks floating in belts, while allowing the safer parking of ships in POS's.

I'd like to see the extreme Approach to parked Ships: Scooping them whole into a Freighter (with enough Space).
New Skill: Towing Reduces the Time needed to haul a Ship into your Cargo.
New Mechanic: Call Concord If you see a Freighter (or anything else for that Matter) that tries to haul a Ship, you can open the Contextmenu and call the Authoritys.
