I have been waiting nearly a week now for a petition response in-game but have not received one yet, so i think here would be my next step.
My corp was the former leader of an alliance. Last week on Thursday the 18th, My alliance was for some reason disbanded. No explanation has been found as of yet. The key piece of evidence is that we did receive a bill the day before stating that the Alliance bill was due on October 17th, which is 30 days. So, everything looked good. Since I personally always pay the bill anyway, I am now certain that this was no fault on our part.
Eventfully, I am also a bit troubled by something else. This problem was caused the day of a server hot fix, One which I believe was to correct some market problems and database issues associated with them. Since I still have not gotten a GM reply (at least one telling me that are investigating), I speculate that this may actually be a serious problem and investigation is being undergone.
So, while I am waiting for a response I think it might be a good idea to ask anyone else if they have encountered the same problem. It is difficult to keep this alliance running without the normal channels (we are doing a good job so far) so it would relieve me a great deal to knwo that we are not the only ones troubled with this problem.
Could anyone give me any information? Perhaps any Devs/Gm's browsing the forum maybe give the petition guys a tap for me. Would just be nice to know this is being looked into.
With Regards Zepher

Hi, please be patient!
Our customer services team will get round to your petition as soon as possible but any petitions that require investigation will naturally take longer to resolve.
Posting on the forums will not speed up the process.

To CCP Mitnal, Hehe, I primarily just made this post to ask others if they had similar problems. Asking if one of you could look at it was just a little side note I added just for the "just-in-case giggles."
Regardless, I appreciate the reply. I'm still open to hear if anyone else has had any problems like this.

tbh the GMs should at least acknowledge that a petition is being looked into. Something along the lines of 'the investigation may take some time' type of response. The worst thing is the silence a week after you open a petition. CCP has a lot to learn when it comes to customer service.

This. I understand that CCP are busy with different things at the moment, but a mail stating that the issue is being looked into would be very nice indeed for those that are waiting over a week for a response.
If this was something like a fault with out telephone line and we contacted the company, if they didnt reply after a week we would be furious to say the least. We pay to play eve so why can't we get a decent standard of customer service.

I don't want this thread to turn into a discussion about CCP's response time on Petitions. It is primarily about my problem.
But just to answer the last two people. Yes that Is how I am feeling at the moment, Frustrated. I have never had a problem with the response time of my petitions. Usually they were answered or fixed within the hour or submitting them. I am just a little worried/frustrated at the moment because, as you described, I have not even gotten a message that it is at least being looked into. The main reason for my dismay is that I have over 100 people that keep asking me for updates about it, and every day I have to say: "No response yet" or "haven't heard anything from anyone else with this sort of problem." Like I said before, I am not contesting the Petition time, I just really need something to tell my alliance so they stop bugging me. Any alliance or corp leaders out there know that its a pain in the butt when something major happens. Everyone comes running to you
