Ok, I know the change was awhile ago, but I am one of those people that take awhile to get around to trying something. After trying to locate a single high sec Grav sight, I have to say it is not worth the time or effort.
Now I know you like to have reasons and data sooo
Time to actually find a system with a sight, 3 days.
Probes used attempting to find it:
1 Multispec.
2 Grav. Quest probes ( suppose to be around 0.6AU away)
1 Grav. Pursuit probe (couldn't find the sight)
3+ Grav. Comb probes (never found it)
+ Lots and lots of wasted time.
Now I know you have the risk versus reward, which is a great measurement, and this isn't very risky, but effort should also count. Since I highly doubt there will be any asteroids that I could not find in any other 0.5-1.0 system in is just not worth the effort. I can just as easily get a decent high sec asteroid field in a mission for far less effort and realisticly just as much risk.

A while ago I scanned out a site in Clortelier. I got a bit lucky finding it - it was the first system I checked. It took two of us with reasonably good skills about 2 hours to get a hit on it.
If I recall correctly the site was mostly Kernite and had a net value of around 50,000,000 Isk. This was good value for the time I put in (good, not fabulous) so I went looking for another site - it took about 15 more systems before I found a Grav hit in Adrel, which after another 2 hours of scanning I failed to find. That's when I gave up.

Ok, higher skills, rigged out covert ops frigate, and 2-2+1/2 hours allowed my to find a site. The site yielded jaspet (0.6 system). After refining the total was about:
4k nocxium
123 zydrine
some mex and trit. total worth about 600k
Total time about three hours.
Given three hours in an asteroid field (which I did earlier) gives me about 230,000 M3 of ore. Even given horrible ore, the net return over three hours of work is not even close to being equal.
