I've just got my navy omen and am wondering about what setup I should use.. Toying around with 2 heatsinks and such for that great 2 second refire rate but still i'm wondering what else I should put on the thing..

My navy omen is fit thusly:
5x heavy pulse t2
1x off line whatever ( I have a small remote rep)
1x best named MWD
1x x-5 web
1x scram t2
3x overdrive t2
3x heat sink t2
1x tracking enhancer t2
3x polycarbs
5x hobbies

I'm curious on how you fly her with such a fitting. You have no buffer, and very limited cap regen (can't MWD+fire at same time, will cap out guns+point only, etc). You don't find those problems crippling?

I get around 3700 m/s.
It's not used to take down battle cruisers. I just gank frigs and non-rupture cruisers.
Buffer? It is ample base shields/armor/structure.

ive been toying around with 3 hs 800 plate kit, ill let you know how it does after i test it a bit more

Without a DC in there your structure may as well be nonexistent. And its abit of an expensive ship to gank frigs and non-rupture cruisers.
Many other choices do it more effectively and cheaper too

I get like 2.5 second RoF before putting on a heatsink or two, so thats cool 'n' all but i'm wondering what I should fit to the lows of this 100mil cruiser to make it more durable... 'Cause in all honesty it's going to get primaried lol.

Zealot isn't faction though is it, if your going to PvP do it in style!
Seriously though, the dronebay makes it very tempting even if its only enough for five lights (ECM all the way). Nano for fitting, seven lows just asks for heatsinks and speed modules. Enjoy it while it lasts.
