Ghost in the Shell Death Note Neon Genesis Evangelion Big O
but like i said, if i ever DO try and watch any of those, it wont be for a while.

Do NOT watch Big O. While it may seem interesting at first its basicly the same story over and over and the second season isnt even done by the same group as it was originally dropped.
Id also recomend The End of Evangellion instead of watching the final two episodes of the serise. -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase:
Players who post are like stars, there are bright ones and those who are dim.

Ha ha, no. There are some great sequences in the final two episodes.
But do watch it afterwards, as it replaces the SUDDENLY SOMETHING HAPPENED WHICH WE DON'T HAVE THE BUDGET OR TIME TO GO INTO sign towards the end. Not with anything better of course, but with more action.
If you don't want to risk hating the series, don't watch the last two episodes or any of the failed attempts to give it a proper ending. The third last episode is the best ending that series has ever had. -

I haven't done so, but a lot of illegal drugs would probably help one make sense of the ending. It's taken from the author's actual psychotic break, so it's a bit hard to follow.
