I find it amazing that this kind of things still happens. You all knew this would happen before you jumped in. You knew it would be a toss up. Either you would be lucky enough to outload your opponent or you would die horribly. Why, despite knowing this, did you still go through with it and then come whining on the forums when it failed? Why? I just can't imagine hundreds of Eve players being that dumb.

A great way to win when outnumbered 2-1 is to display, once again, your uncanny ability to create and benefit from node crashes.
I think people have lost count of how many times bob has come out of situations like this and I don't recall even ONCE where you didn't get the upper hand because of a node crash.
Given that Devs were (and presumably still are) in bob and have cheated for you in the past what's to say that you weren't handed more knowledge of how the server works than is publicly documented?

A fleet lagged out jumping into a system with hundreds of people in it, followed by a node crash? What an unprecedented turn of events. No one could've expected that, jumping in was surely a wise tactical move.

if you bring 1000 people to a fleet fight, lose 50 but dont kill anything then the battle report will say you only brought 50. As tracking is taken from killmails.
The GBC numbers are so high as after a few hours when people actually started to login from balck screen, the GBC already controlled the system and late loaders got on 1 or 2 straggler killmails, thus bolsting the GBC numbers.
But trying to explain something so simple to someone so simple as you is probably a lost cause. Perhaps you should go back to wow a game you probably can actually understand

Yeah, that's right. It was the 400 GBC in M-0 that created the node crash, and not the 600+ NC who jumped in.

I was not in BoB, I wasn't in GBC, nor was I even playing when the thing with T2 BPO's happened, but you have to see it from an advancement standpoint. CCP has these BPO's that are going to enhance the game. In all fairness, the node was doing amazingly well with 1,000 in local before the crash. You couldn't have asked for better performance, lag-wise, with that amount of people. It's one step closer to the dream, CCP, keep it up.
