CCP are looking into the issue tho apparently. The hottest candidates atm seems to be:
1. Dual training, train 1 long skill and 1 short one at the same time at half speed each, when short skill is done, long skill trains at full speed.
2. Queue, but limited to a couple skills
3. When skill is done, next level of same skill starts automatically. So if you finish Navigation 3, It just continues on Navigation 4 |

i think that would be a bad idea because then anyone could get to titan as quick as possible or have all skills in eve as quick as possible and would destroy the purpose of training. in real life u don't train over night time and constantly it takes time during the day when u go to training and when u have to learn a new skill in something it takes time to start it. |

They are thinking of adding limited functionality skill queues. |

Creating a Queing system would let peeps who have all the skills they need select them ahead of time, then cancel their subscriptions for a few months while they get their dred/Marauder/Command ship ect. |

this would not be good for the older players in the game becuase it could intern make the newer players have the same effects and skills over time quicker that the older players have had. |

What is happening when you set a long skill during night or downtime? The skill continue to be trained, even if you are not connected, so what is the diffrence to train one skill or another?
From my point of view, we could plan (ingame) a skill queue, because most of my time, just before going to sleep, I only have long skills to train (and I don't really want to train these just for a night, they are not in the way of my goal), it could be interesting to train what we really want to train... just my feelings ;) |
