Need some advice on a PVP fit for a geddon. How many Heavy Neuts are generally effective vs a BC size ship? Taking a geddon out for some action and was thinking 2 would be enough, having 5 Dual Heavy Pulse in the remaining slots. Is that overkill? Should I go with only 1?

There was a thread on the 'geddon recently with some nice setups.
A BC should be no problem in a BS, and the Armageddon is a ganky ship so I personally wouldn't want more than one heavy neutraliser but I guess if complementing a gang then you could add more and still do some nice dps from the remaining guns and heavy drones.

one heavy neut does something stupid like 20-30 cap/s of neutage.
Do you really need more than that?

That was, in fact, my question. Thanks for the Linky. Just gonna go with this, though not having a MW causes me deep pain...it just doesn't fit well.
[Armageddon, LowSec] Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Large 'Accommodation' Vestment Reconstructer I Heat Sink II Heat Sink II Heat Sink II
Heavy Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 800 Faint Warp Prohibitor I ECCM - Radar II
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L Heavy Unstable Power Fluctuator I
[empty rig slot] [empty rig slot] [empty rig slot]
Hammerhead II x5 Vespa EC-600 x5
Without the MW it's slow as hell anyway...can rig to taste I suppose. The other option is to swap out the EANM II's for ANM II's. Then drop the ECCM and fit the MW.

I prefer to fit megapulse II's, skip the neut altogether because it doesnt make a whole lot of difference in gang, and fit an offline smarty in the spare high, or a RR if thats what is goin on that day. DHP's make me a sad panda

It only makes about 100 DPS difference, and much harder to fit. But true...every bit helps turn the tide...

you can also overheat for longer
if you're in a gang, the extra damage will probably help more than the minimal capneuting imo, especially if you're firing at scorch ranges and not within heavy neut range although that obviously depends on what you come across.

If you can give up scorch (or simply can't use them yet), best named megapulses fit perfectly:
[Armageddon, T1 Guns] Damage Control II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Heat Sink II Heat Sink II Heat Sink II
100MN MicroWarpdrive II Conjunctive Radar ECCM Scanning Array I Medium Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 800

Trimark Armor Pump I Trimark Armor Pump I Trimark Armor Pump I
Ogre II x5
+ overheats alot longer than t2 - no scorch
I wouldn't downgrade and give up scorch, but if you can't use megapulse II's you can squeeze a very nice fit on a geddon. How to Fail at Eve

That is a nice setup. Might be worth giving up Scorch for a MWD. Tough call...but yeah, 9mil SP in Gunnery so I'm good with T2 :).

It just squeezes in there but you get megapulse dps with a decent buffer, and a heavy neut to boot.

don't use heavy neut if in gang. just put a martie in the 4th weapon slot and mega pulse. you want to bring damge neuting there are better ships for that.
and solo well solo bs aint my fav option but a heavy neut will get those pesky intys of you.
