Well at least when those little nuggets drop, some of those notes were higher than Celine Dion in a scary movie theatre. |

Yes wavs are a lot better, however was having huge problems with uni network letting me upload anything at all. Had to transfer it via msn and let someone else do the job.
This isn't abusing an EVE trademark not like I am selling it for real money.

Wasn't me singing bud sorry to burst your bubble, I did however write the lyrics. I then paid someone to sing it (with ISK). So what have I lost at the end of it all if it doesn't work? Nothing really.

You my friend miss the point of a parody.
Another song (another parody) will be released some time soon; I will make this one more 'classy' as several people put it.
p.s. I never made the term r*pecage blame the goons for that one. :)

Will ignore the first comment, positive/encoraging comments on EVE-O forums NEVAA!11!!
The artist is paid a sum upfront, then a split of sales. These are individually offered to artists and negotiated until a split deemed fair is reached.

Edited by: sg3s on 02/10/2008 07:37:01 This must be some troll, because it is obvious that if this spawns some good music (which it won't), people will pirate it as happens with the music of current record labels.
I must congratulate you on your idea, because it is quite obvious that making a record label and getting some good artists under contract will make you shit tons of money. Just that I don't see players paying for this

/me does happy dance at (partly) positive comment.
Yeah majority of people will not pay, but its done for the fun of it mainly. Will be releasing some more free tracks soon. All the feedback I get from the first track will help in creating the second, so I appreciate all feedback.

Your, and other internet/games users, completely out of context use of the word r*pe, I find......disturbing.

*Points at the goons*
R*pe cage came from the idea of reinforcing and surrounding with deployable bubbles an enemy pos. This then leaves them unable to get away watching the reinforcement counter tick down to their death. I think r*pe isn't the worst word that could be used, or would you prefer suprise sex?

Thankyou for your feedback, would be nice to know why. Then we can improve on future tracks, is it the lyrics, the singer, the sound quality. Constructive criticism FTW guys.

Being a caraudio specialist and a musician, I can only say one thing: My ears are bleeding. Any selfrespecting artist that hears the song you posted will turn tail and find another label, probably laughing their arses off at this. Why in gods name would you use a simple bandpass filter to exclude lyrics from a song, not only to wreck the sound but to let some guy sing new lyrics on it... The least you could have done is find the instrumental version, put them on a seperate track, downmix the lyrics and remaster the whole thing. Or find a real band that actually knows how to play the song? If you're serious about this, I'd suggest you seek out artists that write their own tracks instead of covering others. Also, I wouldn't even give you a chance to publish a track of mine for 10 million isk, considering the current prices on audiosoftware, samples, and copyrights. Sorry mate, I like the initiative, but I think it won't work, to be honest... ______________________

Good work completely ignoring my denouncement in the first paragraph then calling it a positive comment
