The Amarr battleships are quite possibly the best PvP battleships out there. ------------

You can fit a Harby a bit like a fat Zealot with a tank.
It's pretty sexy and can quite easily take out 2 smaller ships by itself.
You can also set it up with Beams for a pretty nice anti support platform.
I saw one once with a rack of neuts as well, that looked ok, but I guess a Curse is just better for that.
Geddon is a monster with T2 stuff. Apoc hits over 200km easy when sniping, and Tachs just rock.
Abaddon is ok, but too pricy for pvp for me. Can get a very nice tank on it but it has cap problems.

well i think i will leave out BC V for now but start for the harbi till i get the large lasers. Yeah i'll prolly stay as cost efective as i can for PVP but a nice officer fit L4 mobile will rock. kew, i knew i wanted to go amarr, guess i will now.

Edited by: Cpt Branko on 03/10/2008 20:20:34 Harbringer is a good all around PvP ship (definitely one of the best Tier 2 BCs).
It can do close-range up to disruptor range (and a bit beyond actually) combat very well, and it can be beam-fit for a very nice mid-range anti-support ship. It's really a lovely ship, and if you find it sexy, train up the skills for it, you won't regret it.
Amarr BS are preety awesome, really - with Geddon being the premier cheap RR gang BS, Abbadon for solo/smaller gangs or just awesome gank/tank (has to sacrifice some DPS to fit a RR though, but it can work like that too), and Apoc for both pulse sniping and extra long range goodness.

Both, start with BC - T2 guns (pulse and beam), max fitting (advanced wepons included), max capacitor, get your nav skills decent (t2 MWD and such) and finally your tanking skills (all compensations to 4 or above, max repair, mechanic, hull upgrades). . .by the time this is done you will love your Harbinger (many do), have a really good idea of what the limitations of amarr are (no fancy stuff - just gank and tank), and, either train CS (Absolution is like a really tough Harbi) or BB (which is the begining of really knowing that you have the best choises in terms of combat options. |

This.
Be sure to train skills like thermodynamics, T2 drones, etc, while sticking to a Harbringer - when you do get all that, you'll be ready to really do well in a BS and your Harbringer will be awesome ;)
