Okay: 5x Heavy Neutron Blaster II
MWD, Point, Web
2x SAR II, DC II, EANM II, 2x Mag Stab II
At first when I saw this fit I was like .. WTF. But it apparently seems to do very well when flown in gangs based on people who fly these ships. My question is: if i were to bring a Deimos fitted like this out on a roaming gang, or to a gang battle, what support ships would I need with me to perform its role best?

This is the setup I would run with if I could prise my Deimos out of nullsec:
HIGH: 5 x Heavy Neutron Blaster II 1 x Small Nos II
MEDS: 1 x 10mn MWD II 1 x Process-Interruptive Warp Disruptor 1 x'Fleeting' Web
LOWS: 3 x Mag Stab II 1 x EANM II 1 x DC II 1 x MAR II OR 800mm RT Plate
RIGS: 1 x Ancillary Current Router 1 x Anti-Explosive Pump I
DRONES: 5 x Hammerhead II
Fit the plate if you have any remote reps in the gang (or rep drones), the MAR if not. Beyond those measures, your damage is your tank: dead people don't return fire. Works well in combination with Rapiers since they can slow the target to a crawl, allowing you to get in its face and melt it off. I get 719dps with this setup, which is plenty.
Falcons work well with anything, so that goes without saying. "I got soul but I'm not a soldier" |

No, but it fits and it helps out, unlike something else that could go there.
Bout the only thing I could think of would be an offlined smartbomb as a heatsink for your guns.

Edited by: Strill on 04/10/2008 06:45:11 I absolutely hate personal reppers. Not only are remote reppers better in every way statwise, but switching to a remote repper frees up low slots you can use to make those other remote reppers even more effective.
So assuming this deimos was intended for a gang setup, I'd propose this.
[Deimos, New Setup 1] Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Armor Explosive Hardener II
Y-T8 Overcharged Hydrocarbon I Microwarpdrive Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I Faint Epsilon Warp Prohibitor I
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Small 'Solace' I Remote Bulwark Reconstruction
Trimark Armor Pump I Trimark Armor Pump I
Hammerhead II x5
Requires a 1% CPU implant.
This setup reps more than the OP's setup, and has more EHP than the OP's setup.
