And that goes for both sides. Anyone who tries to pretend different is either dillusional or lying. I think the only people I have seen win outnumbered (heck, even engage outnumbered for that matter) is Tri. (This doesn't mean I like Tri mind you, I just respect them. Too many smacktards for my liking)

Fact is you and I have no way of knowing whether the folks at the top of BoB and the folks at the top of the NC aren't the same folks, pretty much. Same goes for Goon. There is no way in this game, anymore, to know who the people behind the characters are, and what their actual intentions are. So, we get massive "campaigns" and huge fleet fights and great big lag-fests and the pretty colored blobs on the map move around, but if you've got overlapping folks at the director level in just about every major alliance calling or at least greatly influencing what goes on, does it really matter anymore? The people (not characters and alliances) who get the isk will continue to get the isk. Some will horde it cause it's only funny money to them, some will derive a paycheck from it. Everyone else will just play the game under the illusion that it really matters anymore. If the NC falls, the players in it will join up with some other alliance, the directors of which will probably include the directors of the entity that just defeated them, and they'll begin the process of lining the pockets of those same people all over again. Fun huh?

See this is when BoB end up totally screwed. Even if they get rid of Butter, I'll just come out of forum retirement to fill his place. It's kind of like chain-spawning. Something tells me that most of the members of the NC will understand that metaphor.
