my problem is that my pc keeps restarting every few hours. It has only been doing it today, but today is the first time i have sent more than 10 mins on eve since the latest patch.
I also only does it if im log on to eve. so these to things are leading me to guess the problem is eve related.
I have reinstalled the client twice now , the first time was after the patch corrupt my installed client.
If anyone has any ideas it would be a great help.
I will post any more info you need, just ask.
Im now making sure all my drivers are the latest , lets see if that helps.
Cheers

If your system restarts, a bluescreen occured. You can disable automatic restart in your advanced Systemproperties [controlcenter -> system -> advanced -> boot&recover], so your bluescreens will show and give you more information, maybe even the file that caused the error. You can look up the error code on the microsoft site or just google it. You then should be able to locate the problem.
Anyway, let me take a wild guess and say, its a memory problem, which is not uncommon. The little tool on http://www.memtest86.com/ helps identify memory defects/leaks. Download, burn, boot from cd. Microsoft provides a tool just like this, if you dont trust this site, search their site for memory check.
as always: no guarantees, own risk but good luck

Is your PC switching off or really just restarting ? because mine started restarting after the Trinity patch. My pc would run fine playing other games but as soon as I started eve my pc would reboot and it kept do this until eventually it would totally cut off. Everytime I started eve .. the PC totally switched off.
IF your problem sounds like mine above then Ill 100% garuntee your power supply unit is starting to (epic)fail and may blow all together like mine did in the end.it was only after my pc would not boot at all did I find out that PSU had become faulty and died. This was earlier in the year and guess what ?
My other PSU did exactly the same thing this week and then blew so Ive just recently had to buy my second power supply this year.
Eve online is the most power hungry/ graphics hungry game ive ever played.

Hi guys thxs for your advice.
I have tried the Microsoft memory diag program. the first time i got 2 ERAND errors , so i removed 1 ram stick and run the program with just 1 stick . No errors, so i switched the ram sticks over and run it again. No errors. Then i tried both sticks 1 at a time in the 2nd slot, no errors.
Finaly i put both sticks back in and run the test again , no errors.
So time wil tell if it crashes again.
cragz my Pc was restarting not shutting offand it only done it when im playing eve . but thx anyway
Cheers guys
