I had a clone with insured skillpoints of 6,100,000 my clone had about 6,000,000 skillpoints, more importantly it could mine with a hulk and mackinaw i got podded with an insured clone and have been busted down to mining barge IV and several other skills including caldari frigate v is now lvl 4 it appears i have lost over 1000000 skill points in total, I have had another petittion open for MORE THAN % DAYS WITH NO RESPONSE!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone else ever have this issue, if so does CCP do anything about it!?!?!?! I also had an item in my cargo hold go missing, (corporate hangar array) i couldn't store it in the online hangar array or launch it for corp when i logged off the item was gone!!!!

This is the actual toon that is suffering from the skills and items lost, i figured maybe if someone from CCP actually read this maybe they could step on the gas on these petittions, because it's ruining my game play..........
I have worked in the game for a WHILE to get to where I am and if issues like this ruin it and my poss goes down I wont be paying for my 4 accounts or the hundreds of dollars in gtc's that i have sold to afford this infrastructure.

cant guarantee it but i suspect the skill you had in training at the time when completed would have taken you past the amount covered by your clone. for what ever reason this made your clone useless and u lost points as anyone without a propper clone would.
it sucks. i know. and its a shitty explanation but iv had the very same issue m8. it was the only thing i could put it down to. ccp dont care. they told me to always make sure your clone is covered by a couple of thousand skillpoints so as to not risk it going so clone to running out. utter tripe of an excuse.
i suggest you do as i do and purchase the clone above the one you need to make sure it never happens :(

Problem is that my clone already had this skill and i remember upgrading the clone because before I used this toon to go scout i checked the clone to make double sure cause i'm in 0.0
CCP responded to the ticket explaining to me i didn't insure the clone at all, but I did!!!
Why would CCP do this kind of crap to their CUSTOMERS, KEY WORD BEING CUSTOMERS

there is an easy way to check .Open your wallet and journal tab and choose clone act at REF. type
Look to date last time you bought a clone and how much isk it was (and look clone type isk can buy at a medical station),than look if you had been podded after this time or not .If you did not podded escalate your petition
One thing you should keep in mind skill points dont update at real-time and while you are thinking your sp is safe actually not.
example :you have 10m clone and started to train BS5 at 9.5m sp until skill finished youll see 9.5m but not skill points you gained after 10m and youll be in danger

for how long was your actual skill in training? it could be, that you were already over your 6,1m sp limit on your clone.
for strange reasons your (ingame)sp counter will not show your actual sp unless you pause your skill and start it again. (doesnt really matter for the short ones but for the 1m+ sp skills)

This toon was DONE with mining barge lvl5 the clone insured while training for caldari frigate lvl5 which i beleive was already completed the clone total was below the 6.1 million eta clone when it was podded so i shouldn't have lost any skillpoints

SP lost is :-
5% of (amount of skills you have - amount of skills the clone covers ) taken from the skill with the most SP in it.
to a maxium of 1 level - you cannot loose more than 1 level of any skill in one podding. and only 1 skill
