FTFY
Also, I'm in, depending on location and when. Gold Coast sounds good to me since I live in Brisbane. Brisbane of course sounds even better. http://www.dust514.org - the unofficial forum for everything DUST 514 http://www.dust514base.com - the blog site with everything else DUST 514 you need

Well Australia being big us boys from the West coast would struggle to fly over to The Goldie for 2-3 days. I'm saving up for a 3 week break next year to see the 10th Anniversary and stay in Iceland for 1 week. Good luck for organising it though, I'll be watching with interest to see if we can get any ccp employee's to attend, CCP Soundwave may need some sun by then in fact time it for the Christmas expansion and you could be onto a winner. Best thing about the Gold coast is the choice of venue to hold it, but the contents going to be hard to sort out, we could just stream a live Alliance panel on eve TV and duke it out (just joking lol
Look forward to seeing what numbers you get and what can be organised. The Mantra hotel chnage has 2 good venues one in caville ave is pretty good. |

I think Brisbane would be better. Only cause I heard plenty of bad things about Gold Coast. Although, I dislike really humid places, if it's close to summer it might put me off.
Wouldn't it be best to be in the city where (most of) the organisers are? It'd just be easier for them to get everything they need? I say that because you're always going to have people who will have to travel to get to it. |

Adelaide might be a good central location What is the point if every race has an Jam/Damp/Disruptor/ ship etc? Not every race has to be a fluffy little mirror of each other, it's seriously not needed. Things like Gallente having the only drone BS and Caldari having the only ECM BS are incredibly cool distinctions that only add to EVE in both game play value and flavour. |

Too right. But you mates are the ones with the bloody accent. What is the point if every race has an Jam/Damp/Disruptor/ ship etc? Not every race has to be a fluffy little mirror of each other, it's seriously not needed. You should make it easier for your EU and American counterparts to get to and have it in Bangkok. Asian's including Thai's love to drink, and they are very accustom dunkard's, especially Australians. |

Flamin' Drongos all of you, there is only one place to have it!
Farkin North Queensland maate. That way it is sufficiently far from everyone (except me). :D
Seriously though, this event is relevant to my interests...

Because it's important that other events are occuring at the time? I'd think we'd be busy a) drinking or b) well....just a) really. And one thing Adelaide has is pubs. They're freaking everywhere. Start at one end of Rundell Street and work down. There's 20 pubs right there.
In all seriousness though, QLD is a bloody long way from, well, everything. Sydney or Melbourne will make is easier (read cheaper) for a larger turnout to make the trip.

Also Deceduto I dont know what whores you are talking about but the ones my mates visit are pretty cheap, fairly good quality and entirely legal. In many ways better than a wife or real girlfriend I'm told. |
