I'm thinking of going low-sec and messing around there. Having said that, what's a good Rifter fit that is effective at low-sec roaming?

So what exactly do you plan to kill solo in low on a rifter? You can't attack at gates or stations, solominers? they can probably tank you all day long. Maybe you could score some kills on FW folks(then again they could score a kill on you with about same probability even solo) _____________ I don't care what is nerfed, as long as it's not my "undock" button. |

Mainly interceptors, and cruisers that are ratting in belts, you can also kill some bc's + bs's that are ratting in belts but that is assuming they're in lolfits

Highs: 3x 150mm Autocannon IIs/200mm Autocannon IIs (depends on fitting skills) & Rocket Launcher Mids: Afterburner II, Web, Warp Scrambler II Low: Small Armour Rep II, Gyro II, 200mm Rolled Tung Plate
Load up on some Gremlins, Barrage, Hail and EMP for ammo
This is a bit of a tight fit, so needs weapon upgrades and advanced weapon upgrades up a few levels. If you can't use the stuff listed, use tech I versions. Scrambler makes target catching harder, but will allow you to run your repper for quite a bit longer. Don't forget those cap skills...
This thing can hold its own against any frigate out there and cruisers that don't pack a web. Stay away from drone ships (Vexor and Arbitrator comes to mind) as they will annihilate even medium sized frigate gangs without breaking a sweat.

This.
The list of targets I've had great success vs: - short range interceptors (including a few blaster taranises) - lolfit ratting cruisers - lolfit ratting destroyers - stealth bomber pilots who think they can one-volley you - PvP fit nano Stabbers (always dodgy) - any sort of mining crap - naturally, any other sort of T1 frigate

3 salvagers MWD Core stabilizer Cap recharger Cap power relay
And go to 0.0 as fast as you can and join a corp there. Then sweep de asteroid belts for salvage. (Always ask if you may) I'm doing this until my skills are up for BC with medium II'2 and a good tank so i can go ratting in 0.0.
This will give me a profit of 6-10 mil an hour depending on the amount of salvage and the type of salvage i get.
