Hey guys. I've often been in and around 0.0 but i seldom did much other than rat a little bit. Now i want to pvp and i was wondering what the best way of messing around solo in 0.0 is. I often see people alone in their vagas, intys or w/e and i've also seen a ton of solo 0.0 videos that really make me wanna get out there and have some fun.
Now cash isn't really a problem but tbh i really just want a ship that doesn't cost me tons of money and that i can just mess around in. I was thinking of killing little ships (afs/intys), cruisers and i might try killing bigger ships (but just for fun)
I was wondering which ship would be best for this and what tactics are best to use in 0.0 for getting some fun solo play.

Maybe a cloaked dictor, you should be pretty safe, though you'd have limited combat abilities.
You can play mind games with the locals by being the cloaked red in their systems.

Sounds like fun but i do actually wanna kill people . I'm looking for a ship that can maybe choose it's targets, get some fun fights and maybe just maybe get out of a really tough situation.

Try a ship that can fit a medium bubble in the cargo hold and use zero ammo...
Something like a nano-zealot...
You find their "hauler path--shuttle path" then you anchor the bubble right after or before downtime...
Next, map out their pos's and see which one they fuel with old fashion haulers, again use the bubble...
Many alliances use a rorqual or jump freighter to fuel one large tower, then use regular haulers to spread the fuel out to the small towers in neighboring systems...
Next, map out which ice belts are used when for the enemy alliance...
Sometimes they will mine dark glitter as its just cheaper logistically to mine for a few hours...
Pre-book mark all those dark glitter spots in the belts...

What's expensive for you?
You can just run around 0.0 in a t1 cruiser and get some kills. A Stabber would manage pretty well killing small stuff and being able to escape the average gatecamp by burning back to the gate. It's cheap, so who really cares if you get caught in it?
The big thing to keep in mind in 0.0 is the ever present intel channel. Thanks to this, you'll get mobbed by a defense gang if you stay in one place too long. Response times vary between alliances/corps, but eventually anywhere from 3-20 guys will land on top of you.
This means that in most cases you want to keep moving. If you're roaming outside of someone's home space or are facing a smaller alliance/corp, you might have a bit of time to play with. If you're anywhere near a big alliances home systems, obviously you'll have a lot less time before they start trying to kill you. Ideally you want to kill a target, scoop the loot and move on before the blob lands on you.
