video display freezes upp but game continues to run normal.have had to collect cans in asteriod belts while looking at my spaceship coming out of station and motion frozen.now happening in the asteriod belts also.all the game icons and overview working normally wheb this video display freeze happens.am running in vista os and eve preminum

Video card drivers upto date?
I think i used to get that issue somtimes but a relog would always fix it for me, and it wouldent come back for ages.
Id suggest either updating video card drivers, or reinstalling a fresh client of EVE.

This has been around since the Premium Graphics update.
I've bug reported it and even managed to provide a log server report. A GM/dev looked at the logs and concluded that my client simply lost access to the textures and consequently stopped rendering the 3D graphics. Unfortunately they could only suggest a reinstall to see if it stopped happening.
The problem can be fixed by right clicking and selecting 'Reset Camera'. Alternatively a session change (ie;gate jump) will clear it..although sometimes it's the session change that seems to cause it.
Oh and in case a dev happens to be passing and wants to look at my logs (ooh er  ). It's ID55016.
It isn't happening quite as often now but I did have one occurrence shortly after the 1.1.1 patch so the issue is still there.

have the same, and reset cam or jump gates doesn't work. only fix is relog, which is quite annoying.
