I need a setup for a pilgrim with a scan probe launcher and covops cloak with recon 4, I cant figure one out myself, I might not be knowledgeable enough when it comes to rigs (some rigs reduce cpu need for stuff)
only fits I've been able to come up with need 2 co-proc's to fit it all, an example below, its far from perfect though, anyone have a better fit for a probing pilgrim?
[Pilgrim, probes] Medium 'Accommodation' Vestment Reconstructer I Pseudoelectron Containment Field I Co-Processor II Co-Processor II 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
J5 Prototype Warp Inhibitor I X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 800 Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II
Covert Ops Cloaking Device II Scan Probe Launcher I, Snoop Scanner Probe I 50W Infectious Power System Malfunction 50W Infectious Power System Malfunction
Egress Port Maximizer I Egress Port Maximizer I
Hammerhead II x5

He knows how to fit a Pilgrim with a recon probe launcher though

excuse me, I dont know if it will help a lot with the setup, but is mixing passive and active cap mods actually a good idea? I don't wanna run all the numbers right now, but it's the first thing that struck me as a little bit weird...
Still there wouldnt be THAT much improvement in CPU, altough you could get some tf by fitting eutectics :/
But 2 coprocs sounds really bad to me... is there by any chance any weird skill you overlooked? maybe electronics upgrades or something like that? Is the pilgrim really that tight on cpu?
Oh, and there's a sisters recon launcher, that shaves off 10 tf. |

Truth be told you really need Recon V to fly the pilgrim otherwise you run into too many problems fitting it because you run out of CPU.
If you don't want to train Recon V then you're pilgrims will generally just fail. ---------------------------------------------- Ghost Festival - NA Recruiter/Director -Korthan

If you want to have a scanner and not much else, why not use a Cov-ops? That way you'll scan faster.
If you seriously want to use a Pilgrim, which means wanting to be able to do stuff Pilgrim does *and* scan, then train Recon V; then with a 3% CPU implant fitted you can use something like the below. And it is not 'easy' to fit a Pilgrim with a scanner, even with Recon V.
[Pilgrim, BW Pilgrim Scanner] 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Small Armor Repairer II Dread Guristas Co-Processor Damage Control II
10MN MicroWarpdrive II Faint Warp Prohibitor I Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 400 Balmer Series Targeting Inhibitor I, Optimal Range Disruption
Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I Sisters Recon Probe Launcher, Fathom Scanner Probe I Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
Trimark Armor Pump I Semiconductor Memory Cell I
Warrior II x9 Hammerhead II x7 Infiltrator TD-600 x1 Praetor TD-900 x1

Well, using a Sisters probe launcher can help with the CPU problems -- they are a bit pricey though, in the 40-45mil range.

Cheaper to use a faction CPU I think. See my edited build above.

What they posted above. I can't see you fit a Pilgrim somewhat sensible with Recon 4 *and* launcher tbh. Even without launcher I struggle alot to fit mine without having more than half fit named t1 rather than t2. Bit silly how my alt can fit his Rapier and Arazu t2 with Recon 3 and Recon 4 is way too short for the Pilgrim. Grr.
BW's suggestion seemed to be the most viable tbh, either that or fly another races recon, or train recon V which ultimately would be best anyway.

Amen to your 'grr' on comparative skill requirements.
I'm still not sure the OP has thought this through well. Why do they want to use a substantially handicapped Pilgrim (prior to having Recon V) rather than, say, an Anathema?

going afk in low sec then coming back and probing down mission runners and killing them without having to switch ships which would alert them that I am active
