Maybe I'm just going through an odd phase at the moment, but has anyone else noticed that Gallente agents seem to be giving out missions against the Amarr a lot more often than they used to?
In the last couple of days, I would estimate that something over 50% of the missions I have been offered have been against the Amarr - Pot and Kettle, Smash the Supplier, ITMOD, Surprise Surprise - which is a much higher proportion that I normally get - which is something under 10%.
If other people are seeing this, I wonder if CCP are tweaking the mission tables to fit in more with the EVE backstory and FW?
On the other hand, maybe it's just the way my dice are rolling atm ;-)

The last patch did throw a lot of previously-FW-only missions into the general pool. I don't know if there was some backstoryish reason for doing this, or it was just to add more missions to the available list.
That said, I don't see anything like 50% of my offers being FW-types. It must just be how the dice roll...

I think they have been a bit more frequent lately - which I don't mind one bit. They are excellent missions. |

I don't mind the missions as such - ITMOD and P&K are multipart, which means I don't have to mess with my ship setup between missions, and Smash The Supplier is quite possibly the best thing since AE4 bonus room ;-)
However, it is possible that my corp *may* be joining an alliance based in Amarr space, and my Amarr standing is such that they start shooting at me just for thinking of entering their space. It is somewhat ironic that just as I start thinking of repairing my Amarr standing (or, at least, not making it any worse), I seem to get mostly Amarr missions! I wonder if CCP have introduced any mind-reading code recently, or something that monitors chat windows, and adjusts the odds based on what you are thinking/talking about ;-)

Also keep in mind that your standings hit in those missions is per ship destroyed, not per mission completed. Been milking EA5s lately and my Gallente/Minmatar standings have gone into "no way in hell you can repair this stuff mister" area.
2.4% hit per BS? C'mon CCP: they came to Caldari space, they built their stupid factories there and they (allegedly) pay no taxes... Tsk-tsk-tsk - I'm just doing what I'm told to do by the evil agents  |
