Navyfield was cool until i got my 4th BB5 then it died.. staying competitive in the game requires around a 400 to 600 dollar startup for multiple crews.. building a really nice crew for one bb5 will run you upwards of 200 dollars. Its dominated by elitests who feel they should rule the game because they played since beta.. I played it from beta till a year ago and didnt see any difference. Most of the servers are ruled by one large fleet and in some cases the fleet so encompasses server activities that proof of wrongdoing by game designers to help boost that fleet and failure by moderators to maintain fairness in games drove many of the early players away... The company is based in Korea and the game in korea is a different world from the game they allow us players to play.. Korean servers get all the nice stuff a year (at least) before anyone else.. American servers are next in line and sorry europeans all your fun stuff costs extra money go figure. The game is really a lot of fun and once you master manual firing it becomes a real blast.. Regretably in attempts to reduce the grind for newer players they have caused it to be too easy to level up and you get a lot of noobs in BB5's running around and worse CV's who have no idea how to provide fighter cover.. I can almost predict your future.. you will start the game.. and either spend lots of money buying vets and experts or quit out of frustration for being slaughtered...Then if you do stick with it and play hard and make all your goals you will end up like me.. Looking around and realizing you "won" the game and there is no more fun :( |

Edited by: ExcellciuM on 10/10/2008 12:53:51 Trolling in that game is even easier than eve, and you can get people banned for team killing when you provoked them, its bliss

Quoting fail tbh. All we have encountered is some lulz and a welcome break from EvE. Other than a premium subscription you don't need any out of game money to be competitive, maybe you just sucked, or spent too much time grinding way and became a little bitter with it, either way, my none premium crews still kill stuff fine. ------------

Navy field is awesome, and the new subs are pretty cool. Me and my corp m8's used to play it on the side during boring gate camps :p Please resize image to a maximum of 400 x 120, not exceeding 24000 bytes. If you would like further details please mail mods@ccpgames.com ~Saint |
