Plenty to choose from it depend what type of ship you prefer, ie heavy and slow, fast, glass cannon etc.
T1 cruisers are always good for solo pvp, i can suggest maller or arbitrator
Zealot is awesome nanoed but very weak, if you want to tank your better of with a Harb.
Curse is a solo boat of wtf pwnage. so thats what you wanna fly if you wanna win fairly easily

well i prefer the sacrilege over all ships but i have some experiance with curse but i think it wouldd be awsome with a pilgrim couse if im not wrong i think pilgrim and curse are the same and the pilgrim can cloak very good :P but well my options are: Pilgrim, Curse, Sacrilege |

Nano-Sac is currently the OMGWTFPWNBBQSOLOMOBILE, curse and pilgrim are great but you will still be able to fly the Sac after the nano nerf and it will still be the best HAC |

Tainted gold + dark red >>>> Khanid colors, to be quite honest.

Edited by: Lyria Skydancer on 10/10/2008 19:14:59 Edited by: Lyria Skydancer on 10/10/2008 19:14:47 BEST one is prolly nano sac
5xHAMLII (remember to bring javelin kin missiles, youll need it to defend yourself against rapiers) 1xwhatever you like really, pulse, SB, neut (in order of usefulness imo)
1xMWDII 1xWDII 1xWEB 1xMED CB 400s
1xMARII 3xODII 1xNANOII
2xPOLY
3xec-300 (you have a shot to kill huginns with those instead of making it a draw)
Always fit web, always fit CB, always fit mar. There are combinations also where you drop some speed mods and put a bit more tank and dps on it, wich is fine but remember the first three things to fit. Dont be a noob, dont fit LSE, dont fit neut instead of web. Always fit web. Dont fit a pure passive tank.
Pretty much a ship that can handle MANY situations. Jack of all trades. Imo better then nano curse. Nano curse though a viable solo option aswell. ----------------------------------------- [Video] Support Barrage |

Nothing beats a Curse in solo pvp. The Zelot is very strong. The Sacralidge is also quite strong.

Better solo amarr ship for me :
Harbinger :
7x focused med pulse II 10mn mwd II, 1x med cap inj, 1x web, 1x disruptor II 1x mar II, 1x 1600mm rt, 1x eanm, 1x dc II, 2x heat sink II
3x rigs trimak
5x med ecm drone
or
Sacrilege :

2x rigs nano pump
3x warrior II
zealot better for gang, you can solo with this fit :
5x focused med pulse II 1x 10mn mwd II, 1x web, 1x disruptor II 1x mar II, 1x 1600mm RT, 1x ts thermic (passif), 1x centii anp, 1x dc II, 2x ts heat sink
2x ccc rigs
curse :

I'm gonna vote for Curse. Just remember it has TWO critical weaknesses, one of which can be rectified by fitting it properly.
Weakness 1: Ships with a ton of cap boosters and enough range to hit you. SOLUTION: Tracking Disruptors. I am amazed at how many curse pilots don't fit these.
Weakness 2: Passive tanked missile spewers. SOLUTION: Run away, since you're gonna be faster than everything but a nanoSac. If you meet a competent nanoSac pilot, you will die.
Sacrilege is a pro choice too, but I prefer the Zealot as a nanoship personally, given its ability to frag other nano's very quickly at good ranges and the frankly monstrous dps for a cruiser. "I got soul but I'm not a soldier" |

It's all down to the scenario:
TD's work wonders in many situations, tho many "solo" players are basically after the occasional lonely ratters = mostly Ravens - at least up north where pirates require dmg types that are not available by other popular BSs. So it's not a bad think to adapt and either fit for better tanking (out-tracking) turret boats (aka 1-2x TDs) or fit for out-running/speedtanking missiles with additional hardeners or cap rechargers etc. Adapt.
The Sacrilege is a better all-around choise than the Zealot IMHO against larger targets that can track mediocre fast nanos like all amarr T2 cruisers are (we are not talking faction fitted / snaked setups, do we?), while the zealot is better - because of both range and turret advantages over missiles - for pursuing smaller ships and other nanos.
The HML Sac is not a bad choise either and tho it will reduce your DPS vs. large targets significantly, will open a few opportunities against un-prepared fast ships Javelins cannot provide. Remember to pack "the right choice" of ammo dmg type in both scenarios (HAM-HML)... Join the Biggest Greek Corp! www.Mythos-eve.com - Join Mythos Channel in game! |

Cant belive people are very serious about zealot being a good solo boat. I mean it has one HUGE flaw: It cant protect itself against frig tackle. Unless you want to drop the CB for a web but that has alot of disadvantages aswell. 3 mid solo ships are no good solo ships. Need 4. ----------------------------------------- [Video] Support Barrage |
