I might be interested. How many partners you looking for, and what are the breakdowns of financial commitments?

Understand that copies will take about 5 days to make. So if you are #3 in line, you have 15 days to wait, etc.
We have copies to sell all the time, but they go to the highest bidders and that ammount is typically higher than you would pay as part of a partnership... standard tradeoff I guess: money for time.

Yes. Let the buyer beware.
I've seen some early deals where the price to join was really low, but there were like 30 people in line. Like Heff mentioned it takes 5 days to copy a blueprint so someone won't be getting a copy until after 150 days assuming the servers stay up and don't kick blueprints out of lab slots, etc..
There were also a lof of preorder deals. People were offering pay first / deliver later MOAs at ridiculously low prices to get isk to buy an original blueprint. A couple patches ago, the mineral costs for ships increased by 25%. This created a huge liability for some of these deals since the preorder prices were now below cost. I think some corps just ran off with their preorder collections and blocked anyone asking for their money back.
Making a deal is definately worth it if you find the right partner.
We obtained our MOA blueprint with Playboy in a joint BP purchase plan early on for less than 20 mill.
Since then we've produced over a dozen MOAs at cost for members.
We've probably also sold another two to three dozen at a profit of 5 mill each.
Our blueprint payed for itself within two days after our production began.

Yep, I figured it would take several days to copy the BP. Thats why I was wondering how many partners he was looking for, and what the financial commitment was. Turns out they are looking for 4 partners (plus CTI). Partners to pay 10mil each, and CTI pays the rest.
