Originally by: Ichabod Dirange Yes, if the story was told by players it would be about l33t 0wnag3 and carebears STFU.
I have no problem with the jove hitting the scene I just don't see what criteria these alliances have met for being elevated like this in the eye of the public. Some of them don't even communicate very well between them, how were they able to get a full sentence together to keep the jove from falling asleep in their session?
I would've thought the answer is obvious. The Jove are an instrument of the GM roleplay machine. The new Jove visits are introducing the alliance functionality in the Shiva code from a roleplay perspective. Nothing more sinister than that.

So.. If I someone DOES manage to set a bounty on a jove.. and then someone else kills said jove for the bounty.. would the person setting the bounty be the one that has an "accident" or would both parties have an "accident"?
I mean.. hey I'm just doing my job as a bounty hunter! It's not my position to ask WHY the bounty is there..

if you don't wake up, i'll have to stop kissing you. all that flailing has made you sleepy. you rest while i untie you. stay here until they find you. My hand made mannequin. i won't let them get you. they'll know you're mine by the fingerprints on your throat. isn't she lovely? isn't she wonderful? like the *****s that we are, swatting flies from the wounds we design. |

If you don't want the Jove to die why not escort him with enough ships to prevent it? I think it'd be far better RP wise to have a fleet of ships escorting the Jove, and have them attack any aggressors, than to have some GM type in a slash command to kill anyone trying to make a place for themselves in the story.
