I find it really annoying having several modules on my screen with this timer spinning round them, I don't need to know when exactly each one will cycle, it doesn't concern me, it's just visual spam and I hate it!
Please add an option to toggle the timer display.

This, lol. Though as it stands, it is a bit annoying, maybe making it semi-transparant will fix that. _

People can and will complain about anything. Sometimes, it amazes me that CCP are able to extract any good ideas at all from this place. -

It does get annoying with it affecting all active modules, Damage Control for example... |

It would be nice if there was a way to disable it on a module-by-module basis. Things like like DCs, hardeners, sensor boosters, etc. don't really need it and having too many of the displays can get distracting.
Having said that, I'd rather have them all on all the time them not have them at all. |

I can believe it... If they made Eve make breakfast in bed for you and clean your house someone would complain they didn't want it.

This. I personally love the module timer, always handy to know when the next Cap inject is going to happen, or when to cycle off an AB or MWD.

Do you eagerly count down from 29 - 1 watching your damage control? or the tracking computers / sensor boosters?
My personal favorite is Armour Kinetic Hardener II, there's something slightly different and special about it as it rotates inbetween Armour Thermic Hardener II and Armour Explosive Hardener II.
Though let's not forget watching the cycle timer on 5 Heavy Pulse's firing Scorch M, oh what a joy, I wouldn't know what to do without knowing when exactly all these modules on my various ships were going to cycle, even when the timer is out of sync and not displaying it, I'm really thankful that I sort of know when the module is going to cycle by watching the little white trail of happiness.

I can't believe how many trolls responded to this one. You people need to learn some courtesy, he isn't asking for the feature to be removed.
The request is valid, as this feature is supposed to supplement gameplay. What is the point of enforcing it on everyone? For some, its more distraction than its worth. And seeing as how its supposed to be a UI improvement, shouldn't the player decide what is an improvement and what isn't? Maybe not in the case of major design changes, but this is one small visual tweak.
An even better idea is to be able to toggle the timer for modules individually (like repairers or mwds). That would at least make it of more tactical use, because it focuses your attention on high cap use mods. Right now it doesn't focus your attention.

I actually like them quite a bit, but can see how they would annoy some people. I think putting an option in the HUD menu to turn them off would be a good thing.
