I warp to a planet and align to a SS. I open my scanner. I scan 360, then set to 180. I move my camera around to scan a different area and my ship starts to move. I stop it and realign. I set my scanner down to 90 and my ship does the same, and I have to stop it and realign. This repeats every time I try to move my camera. My ship just REFUSES to sit the **** still, and it's the one of the most annoying things in the world to me. Is there anyway to disable that double-click to move ****? It's useless anyways. I've tried setting my mouse double click speed to the fastest possible but it still happens.

It's definitely not useless. I find it's how I maneuver my ship in combat at least half of the time (or 90% of the time if it's a frigate hull).

It's still annoying when I don't want to use it: like 95% of the time I'm playing the game. They need to make it so it can be disabled imo. Or at least make it less sensitive.

It really doesn't matter which direction your ship is heading when scanning, it's your camera angle that counts, so just let your ship cruise whatever direction it wants to.

Why?
Are you clicking on stuff as part of moving your camera around? Your post doesn't make sense.

If there's a way to move the camera without clicking, please inform me.

So you are whining because you are double clicking instead of click-holding?

I am click holding. For some reason the hold is registering as a double click.

I've had mouse buttons go bad on me in the past where the switch under the button gets flakey and starts making one of my normal single clicks into multiple clicks. Had a logitech wireless do this.
Here's a test: - do your normal click-drag routine - except really bare down hard on the mouse button
See if that cures it. If so, you probably have a bad mouse.

I am thinking you should slow your mind down, and quit getting so spastic with your mouse...Really, if this game is so much stress on your mind that you can't just single click something...you better get some meds.
Serious though, only time i have had my ship take off on its own is when i get overly excited and start getting all spaz on my mouse.

That is NOT a game feature, it's either a defective mouse, some doubleclick setting from your mouse software your you being hyper and double clicking.

Oh, it's not just the game. There's also one complaining that the videos found in the video section is faulty, even though everyone else says it plays just fine

You probably need a new mouse if its going to register a click hold as a double click.
