No, again, i am at home, connecting with me HTC Insipre 4g via usb connection share. I AM ABLE to access via web all the links supplied, THE ONLY problem i have is when the client needs to update which produces errors as i supply them. I AM able to use the PS3 Network with the mention connection method. The only PROBLEM is with UPDATES. I HOPE today the game doesnt need to patch cause i manage to go to freind house and updated and i was able to play if you look at the logs. |

I ask you MR. CCP Atropos, why can i play liek i stated that i was online before DT, and why i am not able to patch, seems that the problem is not with any documentation at all. As i chat i am with att support to see if i can get to the button of this. Since askign ccp staff is a daunting task, and sorry if i sound a bit disconfort, but you ccp staff alway blame thrird parties. |

Completely ignoring the help being offered to you does not really help your situation. CCP Atropos is just trying to collect relevant information to try and help you with the issue.
With situations like this, it does tend to be the connection type or ISP that causes issues patching. I had issues ~5 months ago where I couldn't patch but could play fine if I got the patch elsewhere. I could ping all the relevant servers fine, I just couldn't download. The issue was indeed with my ISP (specifically the router firmware) so it's quite reasonable for CCP to assume it is third party for a majority of issues. At this point I am giving up. I was hoping for simple solutions, but seem CCP staff has not been presented by my particular situation. I will not give it more time since it will get my hopes on and then I will rage and probably end up banned from game. It really soks not been able to play without having me to switch providers or method of connection. The funny thing is that Playstation Network is able to connect and play other games, like WoW, Starr Wars/CoD among other titles. CCP needs to work on real issues instead of fixing things that are not broken. Sadly, I can play online but when updates are needed I am left behind. ItGÇÖs cool; I donGÇÖt care just focus on the important stuff. I am simply a low life paying customer that has a real issue and no one in your staff able to comprehend the situation. If only I was able to buy _PLEXs in bulks like other rich folks, maybe, just maybe then I will get the real support. I hope you understand my frustration.

mine is doing that, to stop the "I didn't download that 70 megs files!!" complain at their CSR desk. I'm limited to 50 megs IIRC.
Updating big file on your 4G wireless phone is never a good idea, even if you got enough bandwith allowance.
Maybe you can call your provider to ask them to remove those restriction. |

Launcher cannot complete the 1/4 validating client part when trying to get the RepairDate_514947.dat file . Seems like "cdn1.eveonline.com/" is unreachable for some us ; more like DNS issue.

im having the same problems and i live in france as well it must have something to do with the french server if there is anyone. when i have been looking through older forum entries i noticed that there was a similar problem on the Philippines back in 2011 there it has been suggested to change your dns settings to open dns. i did that , also cleared the cach, still no change. and no way to download anything from eve pages so i had my brother send me the manual patch, after installing that it worked yesterday but today not even that option is working
how can we fix that |

all right guys, liste up everyone, i found the solution it is a dns problem i first changed to the open dns but it didnt worked now i switched to google dns, i changed both ipv4 and ipv6, here is a link how you can do it

thank for the link!
patching really sucks since they "invented" the launcher. this time download was almost complete, then resetted to 0 and started all over again. now getright is doing the job.

Thanks you for the new patch link. My problem is that I don't have proper internet at my house and I have to tether through 3G. The game itself actually uses a very small amount of data but the patches use up a large chunk of data. I have to download from a local hotspot, so having a file I can download on my phone and move to my computer is very handy. |

I've been trying to follow the instructions as per the first post but I seem to be having some trouble as well.
I download and move the .patch file to the CCP\EVE folder but when I execute the launcher it still tries to download the patch. File size appears to be correct so I don't think its that.
Any help would be appreciated.

is sombody able to provide the latest ~500MB patch to play on sisi? (531180 - 531040)
The launcher did' not update the game properly. It get's up to 50% (were it should start the ownload) and stays there forever. I don't know why. It occured the first time when the latest patch for tranq arrived (but i solved that by downloading the patch manually, thanks to you guys).
Playing for some years and never had any problems with the launcher. Nothing changed on my site |
