Dunno how to name that.
I had serveral reports (and expierienced it myself) of sanshas that 'didnt want to die' :)
Quick example from yesterday : me in moa vs 3 missions ravishers. 40 km range (37opt) lead ammo. Shot the first one, after some time , according to the gauge all his shields and armor were down. Still, it was taking damage, took about 6 more 30-50 shots from carbides and repaired its armor to the state in which gauge was showing that sansha has some armor left. So i kept shooting. It went down to 0/0 again, i kept shooting, after next 10 good aimed shots it blew up. Same process with the other two. I guess that the gauge shows the armor rating wrong. EG. ravisher has armor of 2000 but gauge is scaled to 0-1700 or something like that :)
I heard that this issue is common only on sanshas, eg. guristas die in a good way :P -- Portfolio (currently .PL only) - nestor.art.pl

the gauge shows, on the left side the shield of the target, and on the right side the armor of the target, but what it doesn't show is the hull it has left. so what you were shooting at was the hull :)
it's not a bug of the kind you think, just merely a missing "feature" showing the hull left ______________ Only in the Tales that humans tell, do the hunters kill the wolf in the end.

So i thought, but previously they died with the last hit on the armor gauge. And most other pirates do that even now (?) :D -- Portfolio (currently .PL only) - nestor.art.pl

It's been like this in PvP forever (not literally but almost), just that NPCs got the structure leaking bug fixed now. Therefore you can have them at "full red" for a long time if you're not causing enough damage to kill them fast.

this was a bug. Damage to the armor was seeping through to the hull but is fixed now ----------------------------------------------- Watch my leet everchanging dynamic signature \o/ http://www.games-on.nl/~cu2moro/evesigphp/icon.php?blaat=.GIF |

The programing for the shanshe is not good. they armor rep allways when theyr aromour is gone. they get back 1/4 armour everytime.
It is ok they armor rep but it could have been done with a little more style I think.

What's wrong with that, players do that too. They just run the modules on autorepeat so to speak, and the result is that they'll get armor back even though you got into his structure. Same with shield tanks but they get shield back instead of armor.
