I don't want to make the same arguments that have been made in the past for EFT's inclusion in the game itself, though I think they're fairly compelling. I would like to follow up on a comment made during the Ambulation Fanfest video, however. The question posed (roughly paraphrased) was whether players would still be able to walk to their hangar and see their ships in ambulation. The answer (once again paraphrased) was no, primarily because it wasn't viewed as something players would revisit frequently, and therefore not worth the development time involved.
My suggestion is to include EFT functionality in the hangar through a terminal or similar means, which would provide the compelling reason to revisit. Additionally, new graphical possibilities open if things like "cap tests" or "resistance tests" were added with corresponding effects.

and a buy all modules in station and fit too ship (a window with a "check" box for the item and the price, so you can take the on off.) would be awesome ___________________________________________ Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Obtaining modules and fitting ships is a clumsy, frustrating, time-consuming process. Client-side "simulated fitting"--in the form of EFT--is a real boon. I'll often use EFT even in I've got EvE running, with my ship in a station and a hangar full of all the parts I might want to use. It's faster, it provides more information, and you can save your favorite setups. If those features could be added to the EvE client, and then a button to "actualize" the setup in-game added on top, then we'd really be getting somewhere.

Also make the fitting a blueprint like item that can be traded - not really as a way to make isk but more as a way for FC's to pass out recommended ship setups prior to an op.
I'd like to see a strategic planning room where someone can take command of a fleet battle in the 'armchair commander' style. He/she gets to see all fleet mates laid out on a map view together with an intel of enemeny ships etc to be able to direct the battle. Broadcast messages to fleet etc
That would just be awesome - probably a bit far away from being possible though
