for the love of the emperor give it another med slot, whats the point of an assault frig that cant even tackle. even at the cost of one of its lows. or a high. this ship is broken unless your talking from a pve perspective.

This just in: The Assault Frigate boost was a steaming pile of stupid and exaggeration. While all AFs received minor agility and speed boosts, most of their problems went unaddressed; fact is that through the reduction in web strength, the ability for Scramblers to turn off MWDs at the close ranges that most AFs operate and the magnification of the issues with certain weapon systems such as rockets and blasters, what many Assault Frigates are now experiencing is an indirect nerf.

nah theyre great up close now, and with a short range scram you can shut down a cruisers mwd and keep close. ishkur is great, and aside from the retribution being forced into either carebearing or requiring a tackler (A FRIG REQUIRING A TACKLER WTF??) i have no problems with the AF's

yeah there's no question that this situation just sucks... it should be a point of design that no ship for any race has fewer than 2 mid slots.

It does, however, run lvl1's and lvl2's like none other, and is even capable of a few lvl3's... In PvP, bring a buddy or two to do the tackling for you, and surprise them with what you can pull off in a measly 'frigate'!
