Now that implants are tracked on pod kill mails, can we get a skill book and modual that gives a chance to recover a implant from a frozen corps? |

Yes please, and with a new skillset to make it happen, but including such skills as biology and stuff that already exist, would be awesome, not salvage actual implants but salvage components that you can use to manufacture new ones. Implants need to be part of the player driven market too. Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing. |

Sounds like fun, just make the salvage rate low enough that implants remain an isk sink. |

Ad a skill book called called brain surgeon ( or what ever name doesn't matter).
Ad 2 mods corpse salvager corpse salvager 2 ( needs cybernetics 5 and the new skill book 5 )
target the corpse with the new mods- the corpse is destroyed much like a salvaged wreck, and you gain x % chance to gain one of the implants.

Instead, make it parts salvage for some new and rather different set of implants that has to be manufactured from the surviving bits and pieces you manage to carve out of the poor sap's head. I suggested this years ago, but the devs said we dont track implants that are destroyed when a pod is killed.
well now we do track them.... make it happen. |

Fiction wise, it wouldn't make sense if you could just fly up to a corpse and suck the implants out of its head, it would have to be done through a stations service. But either way, it would be cool. |

It's not an ISK sink. No ISK leaves the economy.

really?
i must be missing something then people lose implants, they buy new ones- that is a isk sink. By giving the ability to retrieve a implant even if its one implant per corpse damages the isk sink. |

Actually the silli fuking goon is correct - an ISK sink is created when ISK leaves the game - not when it is recycled.
Love the concept though - but then the implant would have to be player generated, which leads to bps, skills and materials. This I would love to have WHEN the basic stuff gets sorted like POSes, minerals, buffs and nerfs for both ships and mods.
Possibly not the right forum area? I am aware of my own ignorance and have checked my emotional quotient - thanks for asking |

So the 500 mil or so ISK I give to Sansha's Nation every few weeks to buy slave implants to sell in Jita magically reappears somewhere else? I'd love to know where!
As for the idea itself, I think it'd be great if pod salvage was like ship salvage and there was a new class of items that could only be made using it. If implants become retrievable though the value of pirate LP will crash. My killboard - http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=player&name=Kessiaan |

you just proved your a moron please stop posting.
however, guy who said remove clone upgrades and cost stuff... yes please.. it should be our clone is updated for a month or something, no need to upgrade clone after you die, just once month, with a mail reminding you that you have 3 days, 2 days, 1 day, expired. |

It could be something new, no need to recreate exactly what comes from LP. Call them t3 implants for lack of a better term.
Eve does have those other ancient races that have hardly been touched lore wise, Talocan, Takawhatever and yinyang-poontang or whatever it is. Lots of options. |

While adding new skills is always fun, perhaps adding corpses to station processing would be better. I vote that corpses can be rendered into implant salvage and "Strange Meat" "DIE N***ERS1 DIE!!!" - EVENEWS24's Riverini |

I know during fanfest CCP Soundwave and a few others mentioned how they do not like the setup with Medical and Jump Clones and it is something they love to give a overhaul.

After nearly a decade, you would of thought something would already been done to "update" the clone system aside from changing prices. I dread the day I forget and lose several weeks worth of time I had already paid for with real cash, its not like you can pay that cash and still play the game after six months but you haven't popped a skill at all during that that time while you can't really do anything in a newb ship with 900k / 55k SP (Monthly sub = use of server + SP aquirement in my opinion as its pointless to pay to play a game you can't really do much in a Velator alone). |
