We set up two corps, the first filled with pvp toons, the second with dummy alts. We spent about 2 weeks recruiting noobs like crazy for the dummy alts corp, filled it with about 40 noobs then provoked a wardecc with our mains pvp corp. It was fish in a barrel, we knew exactly who, how many, what they were flying/fitting and where they were all the time, it was slaughter on an industrial scale lol, such fun =) |

That's actually a reasonable source of income if you can do it quickly. I spent about an hour cleaning up all the abandoned T2 drones in a mission hub and ended up with roughly 30 million isk. Docked up, listed them on the market, and sold them all back to the people who keep leaving the behind :) |

I guess this isn't super bad, but it is a good story of deception anyway.
So my main was in a carebear corp running some missions. (I swear I was just waiting for the right moment to rob them blind. In fact it has already happened at this point.) The carebear corp was decced. We were doing alright. A few of us were being very effective in tracking the enemy's movements on neutral alts.
So there I was sitting in system with my alt and a WT. the WT messages my alt. I don't have the chat log as I am at work but the conversation essentially went like this:
WT: I will give you 2 million for your frigate. Alt: Umm....okay? It is a 50K frigate you know? WT: Yeah. take this can and let me pop it. Alt: Desperate for a kill? WT: Yeah my CEO decced this corp and they are killing me. I need to get some kills. Alt: Okayyy... sure. Alt: You don't have any WTs around do you? --(I chatted him up while they made the last four-ish jumps) WT: No I don't think they followed me here.
(2 minutes of idle conversation)
Alt: Okay you can have my ship. --(Takes from the can)
He didn't seem to think much of me orbiting him just as fast as my t1 frigate would nor did he think much of my warp scrambler. He cursed a bit when the fleet jumped in just as he popped the little frigate my alt was in.
THEN he paid me the 2 million for my ship. Clearly he didn't quite grasp what had happened...
So a couple days later, still during the war I message him from that same alt.
Alt: Hey do you still need some kills? WT: Yes! alt: I used the money you sent to get a badger. I will sell that to you for 2 million. WT: Okay but I am going to choose the spot this time. --(Sends fleet invite)
(Killed a good five minutes pretending I was moving toward him and unloading some cargo.)
Alt: I checked up on the corp that you guys are at war with. They are a hardcore INDUSTRY corp. --(True, btw) WT: No way. Alt: Yup...getting your butt kicked by a bunch of miners. WT: Bunch of miners my a**
(Warp to fleet member)
Once I arrived I made a bookmark and warped away. Then I apologized for getting disconnected as I "e-warped" back to him. The fake disconnect gave me a chance to drop his fleet and be fleeted by our corp.
WT: What is it with you and warp scramblers? And why is this badger so hard to kill? Alt: Had to make it look good for you. :) Alt: Friends of yours? WT: I think you mean friends of YOURS --(He finally gets it as his ship explodes)
Just for good measure, one of our corp mates in a Taranis caught and popped his rookie ship as it was all he had left at that point.
I guess really the worst thing that happened was I met some people I actually really did like in that corp and had a pretty good time with them before taking all of what little they had and disappearing. I admit, it was a little hard to do, but wife aggro makes a guy to some crazy stuff.
EDIT: Incidentally, during my time with that corp I was one of about four people with access to a certain hangar. An Obelisk and an Orca (which did belong to one of the guys I kinda wish I could end up doing these things with. Good guy. Too good though. Can't convert him.) both mysteriously disappeared about the same time I suddenly had a Rattlesnake to run mission ops in. And nobody got suspicious. In fact I was in line to be a director when outside circumstances forced me to cash out. |

Stole 14.6b in 7 days
Day 1: Joined corp. Explained that I was a pirate, scammer, lair, and all around loverly person. But, I probably wouldn't do anything to them.
Day 2: Made security director because I ousted another potential corp thief. Had to get rid of the competition.
Day 3: Convince another director to buy me a command ship.
Day 4: Convince ceo to buy me a Mach BPC and the corp to mine the mats to build it. Conveniently get wardeced. This lead to me finding about about their large faction POS.
Day 5: Negotiate end of war after POS is nearly blown up. Start taking down pos under the guise of "setting it up properly". Corp helps me. Find several capital ship, bs, and other pricey bpo's researching in pos.
Day 6: Remove the 1000 shares from corp wallet. Vote myself CEO.
Day 7: Ransom corp back to old ceo for 350m. Haul stuff to jita. Profit. |

Meh nothing too mean, but there was this one time
A certain gate in low sec was not "working" and since I knew this I camped it and slaughtered lots of mission running stealth bombers that were unable to jump it. I waited patiently for a certain guy who liked to fly around in his pimp'd cloaky Tengu running missions...well he showed up and DIAF while spamming jump I am sure.

Then a little while later got him to agress me on a station (he mad?) , brought in some friends and got him again

Sort of felt bad, but all the loot cheered me up a bit. Was a good time :) Is sexy time? |

When carebears attack:
When wormholes were new, I used to run exploration from time to time for lulz/iskies. I would also occasionally solo wormhole content if I found a good one.
I found a good one.
It was (iirc) a nice c3 with plenty of anomalies in it, and I could *just* solo them in my cheap loldrake and rake in isk. So there I am killing sleepers and d-scanning when lo and behold I see combat probes. Out I warp, safespot/cloak, dscan etc.
Now the thing is the probes are out in system but not moving around at all. So I got suspicious, left the hole and came back in a covops, to snoop.
And snoop i did. There was a POS with no shield at one of the moons, and the probes were still out despite there being noone about in system. The pos, on closer inspection, was anchoring, and was owned by a tiny corp. I watched for a while, and saw the ceo in a viator turn up, and start to online his pos, then head back for the highsec hole to wait out his onlining timer.
Now this fella had dropped combats to make me leave the hole, so he could anchor his pos and claim my valuable sites for himself.
I took umbrage at this, and shoved my 100mn plated geddon roughly through the hole a few times. It collapsed (with me on the wrong side, but there was also a lowsec exit the other side of New Eden I knew about, and yes I got back safely).
So I can only imagine his face when he warped back to the hole and found it had gone, taking his nice expensive pos with it . I thought about ransoming the hole back to him as I knew about the lowsec exit, but in the end didn't bother. Kinda wish I had done tho looking back.
tl:dr I locked a guy out of his wormhole which contained his newly anchored pos. 450mil down the drain for him (back when u bought pos from npc). |

On one time i tried the P*ssOfsprey.
Saw a lot of people mining except for one Badger MK II. After taking a closer look, i realised thet the guy was trying to anchor a pos + silo in an 0.8 high-sec belt.
I bookmarket his pos, bought a overpriced Badger in local market, reshipped and went out again and grapped pos+silo right under his nose
The guy was realy upset but didn't smack talk. Insted he tried begging the pos back. He even petitioned me.
Both without success

Xearal wrote:Not something I did alone, but a while ago, we had some griefer dec our industrial alliance. We found out that a significant portion of their income was based from a group of items they were selling on the local market, probably imported along with their PvP needs from Jita. The region we live in has a very small market, which moved pretty slowly, but with very high margins. 20-50% is quite normal markup around here. I've got products on sale and which SELL at over 100% markup. So as industrialists, we got our heads together, did the spread-fu, set up production and supply lines, and undercut them on each and every item they were selling. When they invested more money into new products, we expanded and continued our Market attack. A week later, they dropped the wardec.
TL;DR: PewPew people were better at pew pew than us, but we managed to fight them at OUR game.
Take note kiddies, the real power in EVE is ISK, not SP.
Worst thing i ever did? Flipped a can, then when the angry carebear came back on his geddon and flipped it back I just shot the can and left. At the time I didn't know aggro mechanics extended to space junk, but if my little 30k isk frig was going down, it was taking 1.5m worth of ore with it. So at least I'd be ahead of the guy in isk. But I got away with the frig too because all his mediums were taken up by sensor boosters and he didn't have room for a warp scrambler. |

Well, I dont know about meanest...but it was a fun lesson to teach.
I caught a hulk and a charon going through nullsec together. The dude was trying to get his stuff out when his alliance was reset. He begged me and pleaded with me not to kill his Charon...he even offered me his last 30mill to not kill it. To be honest, I rather kept the solo Charon kill with a cane...even if it did take like 15 minutes to DIE. |

It was quite recently actually.
I started up a convo with a WT, trying to convince her to get out of the station and fight me.
during this conversation i found out that she was actually a disabled grandmother who plays games because its one of the few activities she can do.
Well so i asked her to come out and fight me in a frig. She didn't want to because she was afraid of her pod getting shot to ****. So i explained to her that if she lost which was in no way guaranteed there was absolutely no way i would catch her pod (This was in HS so i wasn't lying really). So i caught her pod.. And shot it to ****.
But i did say sorry first.. Does that count as being nice? |
