Heres an idea. Lets just get rid of safe spots, get rid of insta BM's and get rid of Warp core stabilizers.
This would make all the pirates happy until they find out that they cant find any Megacyte or Zydrine for sale anywere in the universe. Then they will start a new thread whining about that.

why get rid of warp core stabs? I never heard anyone complain about warp core stabs except that they were underpowered. Safespots are a bigger problem then Insta BM's because now we have Mobile Warp disruptors that can stop insta bm's. As for empire wars then yeah maybe you shouldnt be able to make insta bm's in empre bc the empires dont allow it for security reasons ( a roleplay solution)

Heres a solution. Get rid of Gate campers. Too easy to take out an indy. frig or a cruiser. And in return, Make it to were you can warp to anyone in the system. Even if they are in a safe spot. But, Also make it to were the miners can fight you instead of run. You can still scramble them, but they can give you a fair fight instead of being sitting ducks. Maybe add mining only turrets to the current turrets on all ships. Eg. Cruiser: 5 turret points + 4 mining points. So you could fit 5 guns and 4 miners but NOT 9 guns or 9 miners. Indy: 5 Turret points + 1 mining point.......etc.

I dont think tracking agents give bookmarks to safespots. I assume thats what your saying because using a tracking agent takes 10 minutes. Im just trying to understand wether your proposing that safespots should be findable in 10 minutes or if they already are.

People feel safe there, leave their ships, and then I come along and impound them for littering the space lanes.
I've made a fortune solo, just because of safespots and so I would hate to see them go.

I fail to see how this situation makes someone a noob. If they are trained primarily in mining, or manufacturing, then they would be silly to engage someone who has trained primarily in combat. Seems more a smart move than a noob move to me. *shrug*

I don't know.. removing safespots all together may be a bad ideal. It would make infiltration and small unit operations nearly impossible. How can a small fleet hit and run if it can't run?
Instead maybe make escaping a fight a little harder, right now I think it's too easy and simple to escape. I mean the best way to live through a fight where the odds are clearly stacked against you is not to fight or do your best not to get caught in one.

No, but there is o corp in Eve that can camp every gate in every system in a whole region. So there woudl still be oppurtunity to do guerilla tactics and escape. OR they shouldnt be able to camp a system and then one sign of being outnumbered or trapped they safespot and logout etc. That is bad flavor and it ruins PvP. I mean they were trapped and outnumbered, they should of been destroyed for being so stupid as to not escape through the gate or to dock.
Next person who says that there should be safespots in Eve will receive negative standing to me personally. Thank you. End this nonsense. Go play a wimp game like Everquest.
