Hi everyone,
i just started a minmatar pilot yesterday. Since i dont like mining i would like to do as many kill missions as possible.
My question is how do i figure out what company to do missions for?
I started doing missions for the Republic Militarry School but ihave no idea if thats a good choise.
So basicly does anyone know what corp i should pick to get good rewards and that helps me get on with my character?
I dont want to be flying for that company for weeks just to find out that another company has the best level 4 agents and that i have to start over with level 1 missions.
Any help would be welcome!
Thx a lot in advance for any hints you guys have for me!

Look for corps that specialise in Command, security etc... they will give you the highest percentage of kill missions. Try this link for further info.

If you're not prepared to mission in losec or in 0.0, you might consider re-rolling as Caldari. They have many more choices for kill agents in hisec than Minmatar that I've found, which don't send you missioning into losec. If you're OK with that, then stick with Min.

There is no reason he cannot run missions for Caldari as a Minmatar character.
Also, you might want to consider that many of the combat agents in high sec are in horribly crowded systems.

I agree, you're right. Just thinking since he just created his character it might be faster to just re-roll a Caldari mission character instead and start off with higher standings. But sticking with the Min character and running Caldari missions is a good option.
I made a Caldari pilot to focus on missions, and I'm using my Min pilot for PvP, so it works out.

Minmatar have a couple good corps to mission for. Probably the best is the Republic Fleet. It has possibly the single best lvl4 agent in the entire game and he gives kill missions almost exclusively. The agent selection on the way to lvl4's is also pretty complete. Sebestor tribe has a pretty good set but it's off the beaten path in minmatar space. Few people mission for them but there is nothing wrong with their agents. I advise staying away from brutor tribe and republic security services (RSS). Brutor has basically the worst agents in game at all levels, many people love them for the convenience of being right next to a major trade hub (Rens) but it isn't worth it imho. The RSS has a lot of good agents and some rather interesting missions. Unfortunately, being a spy corp they are very spread out. To get a good lvl4 agent with them you have to travel up to 20 jumps outside of minmatar space, a real pain in the arse needless to say. It does come in handy if you need a locator agent in caldari space and the caldari hate you. But that's another issue far beyond where you are at.

Hidden-Agenda.CO.UK
This site enables you to look at every agent available for NPC corporations by quality and level.
On the Eve-Online site, go to "Backstory" (on left hand side of homepage). Then click "Organizations". It will list each factions' corporations by size and type, and will give you the number of stations it owns.
By cross-referencing the Minmatar corporations to Eve-Hidden Agenda you will get a good idea of which corporations have the most agents and where they exist.

I wasted a bit of time on Brutor Tribe but then got stuck into Republic Fleet, if you don't mind a bit of low-sec (which didn't cause me any problems/losses) then Molden Heath is a good place to find L1/L2 agents with good rewards.

Another bit of info I think is invaluable is here:
http://www.newedenlibrary.net/eon/faction_standings.shtml
I use it to determine what impact storylines from one faction will have on my other faction standings. I primarily mission for Caldari and Amarr, with the objective of using kill agents to gain facion standings, to make the grind for Cal/Amarr research agents faster. If you look at the charts, you can see how helpful Sisters of Eve is if you're grinding Caldari/Amarr. SOE lets you recover your Galente/Minmatar standings quickly, for a VERY small hit on Amarr/Caldari. Now, if my Gal/Min standings drop below 2, I run SOE L4s and storylines to get them back up and regain access to Gal/Min agents. (Though once you have access to all the Caldari agents, there's not much point in doing Caldari storylines any longer, expect to offset the effect of Min/Gal storylines.)

Republic Fleet is the best in my opinion. There is a nice level 4 agent in Emolgranlan that will never send you to low-sec space.

Emolgranlan is also convienently next door to Eifer which is good for domination faction rats and has plenty of roids to mine.

Chosing what missions you do is as much about which corp your are working against as it is about which corp you are working for. i.e. when you have combat missions against another corp, you lose standing with that corp whose ships your killing.
In the long term you should aim to get a lvl4 agent with each of the major factions, that way you can control your faction standing and dont risk getting banned from their territory. Courier missions are good for boosting faction standing as you dont get reduced standing form ship kills, but the money is crap.
I started of doing Sisters of Eve, my current favourite are Ammatar as they have lots of combat missions agaist the worst pirates, guirista, sansha and blood.
Thukker are a good corp to stay positive with as they are friendly with 3 other borderline corps that you will probably be doing a lot of combat against.
