Edited by: Vajell on 15/07/2004 14:02:46 I think it would be a good idea to introduce another "warp to" distance, e.g. withinn 100km. My optimal range is around 90km and the current maximum "within 60km" is far too small. This also would be very easy to implement right?

iirc this issue was brought up in last week's CSM chat (read them!). Alot of people (myself included) want the warp-to ranges customizeable, so you make a list of distances (no less than 15km, no more than 145km) in some dialog box, and then those distances are your warp-to options.

Another cool idea would be to have a negative warp to distance, where you would overshoot the target by a specified ammount.
For example, my buddy and I hunt in 0.0 quite often, and there are big rats there (duh). He flys a Crow and I fly a Mega. He normally warps to the belt/spawn first, to check what distance the rats are at so i can load up the right ammo. Then he will lead the rats away from where I warp in until they are at my op range, then he will orbit them there and keep them in one spot. What would be nice would be if he could warp to -40 KM and therefor overshoot the rats by 40km, then the rats would be following him (rather then sitting on top of me) even before I warp in. Now, if that made anysense to u...congrats.
