I will be persistant. If you don't shoot me at first I will keep stealing and salvaging until you do. Think you can warp out and back? I have your accel gate bookmarked and will happily wait for you.
Still not engaging? Depending on your mission I'll bring my own big ship in and kill the structure/important rat and steal your mission loot.
If you try to fight back it doesn't matter how you're fit. My PVP ship will destroy you. I won't even show you my PVP ship until I have aggro on you with my little heron anyway.
I'd love for you to fly something like a Marauder because I can permajam you with my ECM drones. And by all means, bring a buddy. I can take multiple enemies on at once.
The best way to avoid something bad happening to you is to log off for an hour once someone like me shows up. Only way to lose my attention (scanning you guys down is annoying, so I'd rather spend 3 hours playing with you in your mission than probe someone else). Firstly, I smell a fair bit of bullshit in this post.
Secondly, I won't tell you where you went wrong because I enjoy playing with your type.
Sadly, I can't remember the last time I had someone invade a mission. I guess they must be learning it's a complete waste of time scanning down experienced pilots. Never make eye contact with someone while eating a banana. |

Why? If i can omni tank 1k DPS, that's more than enough for ANY level 4 mission in the game. Because I was getting impression that you are giving advice to other players. Don't get me wrong as you are obviously experienced player with such a high omni tank. And perhaps some of them are not experienced as you are, nor have a tank of yours. But I'm sure that you can do ANY lvl4 faster by switching your sleeper-tank for actually needed tank, and use few more damage mods. Just saying.
Actually you're completely wrong because shield tanks don't use damage mods in the mids. Target painter? ehh. Rigors usually handle it. |

Drones, even when set to Aggressive, will NOT initiate aggression against another player. They will return aggression, but they never initiate it. Period.

hmmm... energy neutralizers (you don't expect them in lvl4)... also you don't expect dmg types other then faction you are against Please don't tell me you omni-tank your lvl4 mission boat.
Sadly there is distinct difference between PVE and PVP fits.
In short. Don't PVP in PVE ships.
Oh there are more than 4 missions with Energy Neuts in the L4 class. At least in the Amarr space, that is.
Second point, i fly the L4s solo with a Zealot (heavy assault ship - cruiser class). If not too lazy then i take my 2nd toon with Logi or Orca additional, since i need the faction hits on the toon. L4s arent really hard, if you know them, or read the spoilers. If you just fly in and shoot at everything moving, well.... Point is, that a battleship is by far overtanked, even in an average resistance config, or omnitank.
PVPers are mainly interested in the kill. So they have to fit something, that keeps the target nailed down and not let it flee. For the benefit of that, they have to remove some other device, wether its energy, shield or armor. Quite no matter what, PVP vessels do in first order dmg. Because of that, they need to have buddies to compensate their weaknesses and tactics, which dont leave them vulnerable.
Further there is a big difference between hisec pirates, and real PVPers. The wannabes in hisec simply have success sometimes, because they are outnumbering those who are relatively new to the game, having a lower number of skills and few experience about game - and especially PVP/aggression - mechanics. In a few words: they are just attacking nearly defenseless players, and even those they cant take out alone and need a bunch of buddies.
Facts about those wannabe-a-pirate-poser-losers (wappl'ers*):
In low and nullsec are 100s, even 1000s of players who are looking for a fight. But those have teeth. Wapplers wont fight there. Wapplers only attack targets, who cant defend themselves, because they are not in a PVP area. Wapplers only attack in numbers, because they couldnt take out a single frigate solo even when they would fly a doomstar. Wapplers never have much success, because beginners are rare. (proof? his last kill was before 2004 in highsec) Wapplers often post in forums how dangerous they are - it is need to be said, else nobody would know. Wapplers never have bounties on them. They couldnt afford to set them that often by themselves, and nobody else would set one. Wapplers need love in forums, so please, dont hurt them.
Cheers

I beat Masternerdguy twice in a row in a Jita duel, and he decried my success, claiming 'hax'. It was pretty amusing that he kept on rationalising reasons why I could beat him. |

I have to insist that you 'steal' my loot, because in all honestly I will not loot anything. And I will not salvage. So if you want that crap, feel free to waste your time on it.

Because I said something you don't like, it doesn't mean I'm completely wrong. You are now talking from shield standpoint?, missile standpoint? actually you are talking from your ego standpoint. I'm talking in general terms.
But, you think that TP is useless and can't improve your DPS? Or you don't see how increase of your scan resolution can speed up your missioning? drone mods? TC? You think that there is no improvement for you?
My point was that if you do LVL4, there are faster ways then mega omni ego tank. Eve has many viable solutions for everything. Heaving narrow minded mindset is usually not good idea.
