I released this app in the Industry and science forum yesterday.
It is a tool I wrote for my old corporation which sadly met an end as these things do. Its been in development for the past 2 years so it's farily comprehensive. More details in the other thread.

Ohrite folks. Been a good weekend for me and I've just pushed up the latest code base. Couple of fixes and introduction of new features:
Corporation control : Create your own corporation group and start managing your corp wide industry jobs and financial affairs. Create Corporate projects which appear on the list of all your corp members who are registered. Create request projects to get someone in your corporation to build you that certain item Create quotes for other registered users in own corp or in other corps. Quotes appear on their own project list as well as yours.
Corporations can be created and managed from the User Options section
Fixed confusion surrounding ammunition and "quantity". Quantity now properly relabeld as runs. back ground calculation now take into account the portionsize so 100 runs of Carbonized lead will produce 100'000 units of ammo. Extra column "produces" added to manufacturing. Projects creation relabled as Runs as well. Entering 100 capacitor booster 800s in creation will show 1000 units in Item list (1 run makes 100 units)...... So remember items produced = runs * BP Batch
there are more corporate features to add over the next week so stay tuned. |

Absolutely brilliant tool!
I currently use Google Docs to manage all my production and this tool could make life a LOT easier. However, I am kind of hesitating. A lot of these projects are abandoned after a while whenever the owner leaves EVE or becomes bored of the project or whatever. Which is absolutely fine - this is a game afterall.
What level of commitment do you have to this project? And if you decided to drop the project, would you release the source code?
Excellent work though Raath :) I have a specific comb for my beard. |

I also run Staticmapper.com which has been up since apocrypha came out in 2010 and has a somewhat large cult following of dark deep denizens who would hunt me down and shoot me if I ever took the site down.
I'm one of these phreak code junkies who doesn't know when to stop. My level of interest in a game is directly proportional to the level of interaction I can have with it to write new interesting meta tools for it. One of the reasons I don't own a PS3 or Xbox is because after a while, if I can't mod it, I get bored with it. With the API and expansions every few months, a fantastic community of bug hunters to deal with daily, Eve never lets me down. I do occasionally have breaks from eve (everyone has to occasionally) but the people who use my other web tools can testify that I still support them even when not playing. It's like the hotel california. you can checkout, but never leave.... In seriousness though, I'm a seasoned web developer (meaning I now have grey hairs to deal with) so it's a matter of professional pride that I write stuff that works well (mostly) and (like staticmapper) as the community builds up around it, I'll do all I can to make sure that the site is kept up to date and functioning when the new datasets are released with all those tweaks.
My wife would absolutely love me to finally give eve up for ever, but she also did the voice over for the video so I think you guys are stuck with me for a whiles longer..... |

Awesome stuff Raath. I'll be using your website for my next production run :)
It's good to see a committed developer. I understand these tools are made in your spare time and are free, and I shouldn't really complain when something I gt for free is now longer usable. But... you know. It's annoying when it happens!
Thanks for developing the tool. I am a web designer myself. If you ever need any help with design, graphics, CSS, HTML etc, let me know. More than happy to help :)

Manufacturing got some love today.
Select your pricing options : Lowest Sell, Highest Buy, 20 day median (jita based) Style and functionaltiy changed :
- Accordian style widget lets you see required materials for components. Is it better to buy or make?
- Only items that require base items to manufacture appear on the components section. All base materials appear in the right section
- some other things that make my life easier but don't really effect you

Tonights tweak : Everyone likes to share links so I've enabled URL data on the manufacturing section.
So if you want to share the build requirements with someone to check prices or just for giggles then you can do it now and the correct information will show.
EG you want to share how much you need for 10 rifters :
http://industry.darkshadowindustries.com/manufacture/item:Rifter/qty:10/me:80/pe:20/detail:1/price:sell
Remember that the manufacturing lookup is part of the free public tools so everyone can have fun with this one :)

New Feature : Material Buying Program
One of the toys I'd not been able to release to you was the ability to buy materials from your corporate groups. This was because the way it was handled previously for my old corp was dated and needed me to strip down and rewrite. I was hoping to get it done before the expansion to tie in with the drone region nerf but hey, better late than never.
What is the MBP?
The ability to buy materials from your corp setting a default refine and tax rate. Built on the methods of the material reports, it works out the value of any ore and ice based on the refined value. Minerals, PI and other objects are priced at item value. The Corporate group admin console now has options where you can set a default refine level and a default material tax. The refine tax only effects items that need to be reprocessed, the material tax effects the gross value of the refined items. This is so that those of you who have excellent standings with NPC can set the refine to 0% and the others in deep null with ruthless overlords taking 10%+ can set the level playing field so corp can still get it's cut from the leftovers. the material tax is what the corp keeps to help pay for all your overheads.
Material reports created for corp projects will automatically assign reports to MBP while personal will still be personal.
The MBP reports automatically link into the contracts API. To get the most out of the system get your minions to do the following :
- Haul their junk to station of choice
- Create an MBP report
- Copy the Net MBP value of the report
- Create a contract to your corporation with the exact figure in the "I will recieve" bit of the report and the exact amounts of items
- submit the contract
On the next API cycle, the contract number should appear in the Outstanding section if :
- values match
- contract issuerID matches one of the toons in the contractees account
- All the items in the contract match those in the report
if you see a contract number in that list, you'll pretty much know that you're good to go. Still check it out just to be sure. Contract details will appear to the right of MBP reports. If you're viewing the page in eve, click the contract number to get it to pop up
Other features include :
You can now select which one of your toons to log the report against. Rerport list now shows corporation toon is in and type of report. If you have alts in multiple corps and 2 or more of them have created a corporate group account then you can select which group to assign your MBP to.
Any issues or bugs, let me know and I'll hop on them as soon as I can Wormhome Navigation - http://www.staticmapper.com Industrial Management - http://industry.darkshadowindustries.com |

More asset stuff :
In a project -> assigned Resources tab, you now have 2 choices to manually add resources to projects
The traditional manual enter name. quantity. value Or if you can add it from the assets.
Please note though due to the constantly changing nature of the itemIDs on the asset API, it is next to impossible to track if an item has been used previously. So use with caution.
Also, note that if Projects are personal, you can only add items from your personal API (so only from stations) and corporate projects can only pick up items from the corporate API (station office hangars/POS assembly arrays etc). The asset method can only track quantities, attempting to also add financial would produce too much margin of error. To track financially, add market transactions directly to the project. I really hate and love you at the same time. I was / have been working on something almost identical to this for my own corp. Spend the last 3 weeks working on the source coding for query. No where near complete... but this does a lot of the things I wanted to do as well.
I did have a comment... for trading, it's better to see other market prices as well. I was running data from all 16 high sec regions local market hubs. Simple as well to run top 4 and compare pricing other than jita.
Also laser yield only calculates value for veldspar and doesn't seem to do any other values. Unless I am missing something there...
Good work though, I'm debating on if I want to continue my project as it's going to take a year or more as well I fear :( |

Thanks for the comments and feedback :)
Adding more pricing sources to the site would actually detract a lot from the main focus of what it's designed to do. When I began writing the site, I needed a full on corporate industrial management tool to track actual financial costs but give me reliable at the moment financials for planning. I've found because Jita is the undeniable main market hub in eve, any ripples in the eve economy are felt there first before hitting any other market hubs. The Jita standard keeps everything on the site on an even keel making sure that those who use the various features to gauge buy or sell prices are all treated fairly.
Regarding the yield calculator, it's giving the total M3 of the lasers rather than the total units of any ore. The actual amount of veldspar would be 10 times greater than the yield as each unit is only 0.1 M3 I do have plans in the future to add some more toys, integrate it into the assets section so you could test ship fittings and perhaps a calculator so you could see how long it would take to mine X units of Y...... Tweaked CAK entry form. A table will display what keys are used by the site and what keys you have enabled.
An edit link now takes you directly to the eve API page if editing/updating your key.
When creating corporation groups, it will now correctly fill in all the right options on the API creation page depending on which link you picked. Wormhome Navigation - http://www.staticmapper.com Industrial Management - http://industry.darkshadowindustries.com |

Another feature added. POS management.
Ties in with your corporate assets so you can help to properly manage your junk.
As it stands right now, when the asset list updates, you have a lot of POS structures but no idea what links to what. The POS management lets you :
- Click on structure names to rename them
- Click on tower row to go to configuration page
- Drag drop structures from unasigned area on right to assigned area on left
- Structures with items in hangars will have a grey + icon next to them. Click on the grey icon to see inventory
- Inventory items sorted by corporate hangar
- Tower inventory shows units and also how much storage is used. Nice green bar for how much space is left in capacity
- Towers will now show up in inventory as being on the moon they're planted
- Assigned structures will show up in inventory on the moon of the tower you assigned them too
- Reduce the amount of structures you need to scroll through by clicking on a group search icon to only show that group type
- Back to top button added on all pages of site.
There are still some features I need to add to the POS management. Namely:
- Ff your tower is low, the ability to quickly create a project to create the required amount of fuel blocks of the correct racial type for the tower,
- CPU/Powergrid usage for assigned structures as well as ability to flag them on or offline
- For moon miners, ability to set type of moon being mined or reaction type (this will be part of a bigger update to do with managing moon goo reaction chains)

I've added another feature to the site : POS planner
Based on another section of the site I'm developing, I felt that it would be of use to the community so tweaked it and released it.
It's pretty simple. Just select the race, the tower and click on the Array groups. It will update the CPU and power grid usage as you add and remove structures. You can click on the add/remove icons or drag them, whichever you feel happier doing. To drag/remove from the tower simply drag the structure back into the green source box.
The more astute of you will notice that it will eventually calculate the expected resistance if you add hardeners and according to the title of the tab *untitled you will be able to save your creations for later retrieval. For now, it's there for you to play with so have fun. I'll add a fuel calculator later on if there's enough demand for it. At present I have no plans to release the site as a licensed product or under any GNU agreement. There are still many features that are still "under development" or need refining. As the sole developer of the site I can handle the bug reports that come to me on the current hardware it's running on, I'm not sure that I could feasibly keep up with all the problems that would spring up trying to run the app on other distros/OS. Yes. In User Options there is the ability to create a corporate group if you are a CEO/Director with the ability to create a corporate API.
You create it the same way as registering an alt. This will unlock the corporate features of the site and automatically include anyone currently registered on the site into corporate based activities. You can assign them roles from the same administration panel allowing them to create corp projects, administrate POS and other advanced features.

I seem to be having an issue with adding an alt to my account. The alt I'm trying to add is on a different eve account and is in a different corp.
I tried to simply add my alt by going to manage characters -> add alt -> provide details -> website pulls my alt's data -> I click the picture of my alt -> blank page -> refreshing manage characters does not list my alt.
Am I doing something wrong or is there an issue on the site?

did you create an individual character key for the alt like you did your main? The reason for having 1 key per character is to protect your privacy and improve data protection within the database. I really really need to find out why it's not giving you an error when it detects an account key.... Ok that fixed it. The key I was trying to use was not a key for an individual character, but for all characters on that account. By changing the key to individual character it added my character perfectly. Thanks for the quick response. Maybe you could mention something on the 'add an alt' page that it has to be set to an individual character.

New update release :
Tweak to overall style. Increasing overall screen area to display more info and fix certain issues where menus were pushing content beneath it.
Blueprint Manager added.
Connects your Asset list and Industry jobs so you can see in a single list what BPs you have, whether they're copies or originals, what they're doing, what you've done with them in the past, ME, PE and (for BPCs) how many runs you have left.
Further details in the blog post .
due to the changes required on the database, you will need to refresh your asset list again in the assets section then perform the update in the blueprints manager.
The functionality this feature gives will be implemented to other areas of the site as documented in the blog.
