Due to the POS exploit, the demand of yesterday was for ferrogel
Today it has reached T2 ships of all classes, some jumped from 70 Mil to near 90 Mil and at this rythm, the market is going to be depleted in a few hours. There are already Ishtars for sale at 110+ Mil
Just throw a look to check

It's such a shame I spent 11b on ships, fittings, ammo and all the nice tech 2 stuff about 2 weeks ago... such a shame.

Kazzac, there is no wrong direction. Every part of the supply chain from high end moon mineral to final product is going to increase as a result of the CCP crackdown.

POS fuel has gone up a fair bit as well, probably mostly speculation at this point I would assume though.

yesterday you could pretty much have bought ANYTHING that involves t2 and see a dramatic price increase since then. there are only a few items that maximized your profit though :).

No in Sinq, other than Ishtars those went up about 15 mill, I see like 20 Damnations at 120 mill a pop.. 18 now as I was typing, I see 20 Eos at 90 Mill, and so on. So not all regions are affected by the resellers.

Agreed, but if you want to maximize your profits then the trick is to not look beyond the bottleneck but search beneath it.
If estimates and rumors are to be assumed true at this point (which based on past eve search forum posts and CCP confirming 'widespread' effect) there is going to be a much more dramatic boost in the items behind the bottleneck than after.
Think about it this way. We had hundreds of thousands of untold crap being literally spawned out of thin air. The very ishkur you flew to rat with was likely spawned from materials that came from thin air and never touched the base component and mat market.
Demand has not changed.
So now we have THAT much increased pressure on the low end market.
Its going to make alchemy VERY interesting in the next month or so. So much so that Ive actually run some numbers and seriously considered getting back into the tower business.

People need to understand that these price fluctuations have no direct bearing on the CCP changes. The price rises are all manipulations. It happens on every patch and almost always settles back where it started.
Obviously this is a larger issue and prices may well be higher on a more permanent note but just because the hulk rose in price by 30m don't assume it's gonna stay there.
I flew to a few other regions to find hulks that weren't affected so I could buy them for my purposes. |

I'll admit that I did buy some Hulks yesterday, but no more than usual as I export them to nul sec for a tidy profit anyways. I just didn't want my margin falling through the floor.
The items I did speculate on I plan on holding onto until things level out. I could do the .01 isk battle but that's not how I operate. They are core items for just about every T2 ship and I'm sure they won't drop below the price I bought them.
Until we can determine what percentage of the total market these exploited materials accounted for we won't know where the T2 market will find it's "level". IMO higher T2 costs will shake-up the political workings of alliances. Simply taking space for the sake of taking it will done less and strategic decisions will replace tactical actions.
<but what do I know?>

I wonder if alchemy will finally drive hisec carebears out into lowsec in search of greater profits from production of "Unrefined" moon products?
Right about now would be a great time to set up a POS supply corporation, methinks.

A little. Maybe a K or two. I wasn't watching them too closely.
Also Alex555, I believe the best way of description for this situation is via meme:

market warriors are causing this ffs. who cares tbh
just give it a while and everything will cool down. i highly recommend no one buy anything for a week. as a tech 2 bpo holder im willing to go that route. i just want to teach ******s a lesson on market pain.

Being new to invention and T2 manufacture, I'm wondering what kind of affect the current market is having on the T2 components.
I don't have a clue about reactions to produce the T2 components, I invent, purchase the parts I need to build it, then fly out in my shiny new ship.
How are the component prices being affected? Is it as bad as the T2 module/ship prices in terms of rocketing prices?
As a small time T2 inventor and manufacturer, is it better to wait out the current market crisis or are the components (like for example antimatter reactors) being largely unaffected?

My take is that this affects high level t2 gear in two ways. First, high prices for components will mean somewhat higher prices for the final product. There are four complex reaction products that have dyspro or prom in them: fermionic condensate, ferrogel, prometium, and hyperfluorite (sp?). Ferrogel is particularly sexy for the manipulators because it has both dyspro and prom in it. From what I'm gathering, all four were exploited as well as some other reaction products (perhaps simple reactions like ferrofluids, for example and convenient complex reactions).
Second, they were producing some amount of t2 gear directly. So less supply of that. Don't know how relevant it is.
