I tried making a EW scorp and I came up with this 4 ECM Multispectrum jammers sensor booster 2 warp dizz(20km) 1 stasis web
Would it be better to go with 5 ECM and only 1 warp dizz? I am still learnig how do setup so any help would be appreciate.

Also beware of engaging ppl with FOF as with no shield booster you can get stuffed.

Somebody told me that you cant actually fire FOF missles if you are jammned. I never actually tested that so I dont really know. But if they can fire FOF what should I do? run?
So I shouldnt use the stasis web? I thought it would be useful against the pesky interceptors. How other way can you deal with ceptor if you are in a scorp?

dude if you wanna keep your cap....use dampeners....If you get some good ones, most of the time if will get a bs targeting range down in the 1k to 9k range....then just keep out of range and they CANT lock you and if they do get in range it will take them like 200seconds to lock you...and by then they should be close to dying if not dead

Oh yeah, trust me they work - if you're set-up for ECM and you bump into a Raven packed to the gills with FOFs, run like hell because it will strip the **** out of you without any shield-tanking strapped on (running shouldn't be a problem, because if he's jammed he can't use his scrambler, natch).

If you're packing Heavy Nosferatus, those are your anti-interceptor weapon. They require no tracking whatsoever, so if the attacker slips under 21Km suck him dry and he'll either be forced to make a hasty retreat, or face the wrath of your drone squadron...

they work.. if they already have lock on you it will break the lock.. if it is over there targeting range...if not you are *******..

Now I am trying to figure the whole dampeners thing, so could someone plz tell me how is the best way to equipe a scorp with dampeners. How many should I use? I am guessing if you use dampeners you want to stay as far from the target as possible, so should I use MWDs? Should I put 4 guns instead of bays or do they have the same range? Any help would be very apreciated

it actually all boils down to the range of your warp disruptors. You have to make them stay and fight first. Then you arange the rest of your equipment around that. ECM works great except for FOF's. To fix the FOF problem you need a passive targeter I believe. well good luck man. I hope I helped.

I didnt actually test this, but a lot of people told me that the passive targeter wont help against FOFs missles cause the FOFs just target the the closesest ship that is firing on the guy with FOFs. I dont really know if any of the guys tested that. And I for one would really like passive targeter to work against FOFs. So does anyone know for sure if the passive targeter works?

I didnt actually test this, but a lot of people told me that the passive targeter wont help against FOFs missles cause the FOFs just target the the closesest ship that is firing on the guy with FOFs. Yes couple thoughts: 1) 425s are long range guns, why in the world would you want stasis web which is short range, let alone 2 of them 2) where is you cap coming from? no relays, rechargers or even injectors. Cap is life, without cap you die. 3) No defenses at all? No sheild and no armor? Is this a suicide ship? Just because someone is dampened, believe me FoF cruise missles and drones will hurt.
IN general: 1) Focus on short range or long range 2) Make sure u have cap 3) Focus on shield or armor defense 4) For a Fleet EW setup, pick ONE role and do it well. 6) A solo PvP setup is different from a fleet PvP setup. YOu kinda have to do it all,
