Both shoes missed him, those are the reflexes of a man that must either a) get a lot of stuff thrown at him or b) expects to get stuff thrown at him
The dude that threw them must feel like an arse though, a one and only chance to bounce a shoe off George bush's head and he ****s it up , i'm guessing he is already in an orange boiler suit, first class to guantanamo bay.
All jokes aside that was some impressive dodge skills

Your not joking, it would be the vid of the century if one of them had hit him square in the face, the moment of impact would have been on posters, T-shirts and PC wallpapers worldwide, still funny though, made my day

Tbh the shoe would have hit him if the dude didn't jump and go "LOL BUSH" and make himself so obscenely obvious.
I bet the Mocassin-Assassin felt like a right goon after failing to hit an old man with two shoes, only to proceed to be wrestled to the floor and stamped on by the looks of it.

The policies of the Iraqi Minister of Information are being put into practice?

Oh my God WHERE IS THE LINK?! The answer to all of my problems lies in watching GB dodging a shoe and yet I can't seem to find a link in the OPs post! My life is over!

It's apparently a really horrid insult in Iraqui culture to throw a shoe or, as in past examples, wipe them on posters of someone. -------------

I'm still puzzled over the fact the thrower had time for TWO shoes. And the fact those shoes didnt explode.

I call staged. Bush knew it was coming, else he's not human.
Either sounds plausible at this point. -

Agreed.
But maybe he was just high as a kite on amphetamines. I heard that stuff really helps when running a largish nation. Also I heard it increases agility and agility related skill rolls, like dodging.

You know, if you put some good quality trance music on, make yourself comfortable and focus the video loop on this thread for a while, you may be able to achieve Nibbana.

Yeah, Calvin totally called that one but then again it was kind of a no brainer that it would happen. My local news station must have replayed it like 50 times when they discussed it then showed the 2 seconds of Bush saying it was a size 10.
