having trouble fitting the Paladin. problme is the powergrid is over with the t2 tachs. i found tha the ballista gives equal DPS but has much les powergrid consumption. however, i cant find it anywhere ingame witjh the contracts or on the market. i dont want to use the amarr navy tachs because buying four of those wud cost about 300 mil.
1) where can i find the Ballistas 2) if not them, which tachs shud i use?
advice is appreciated

If I'm not mistaken those are story line BPC rewards from COSMOS missions.
And honestly if you are flying a Paladin, use Mega II's for missions... |

Mega II's are meh, if you realy want to use Tachyons, go with a Faction Repper.
You should have 25 grid left. |

or just get a +5 grid implant problem solved.
that was at least what I did and some navy tachions are money well spent imho |

You don't need a single CCC in the paladin. Nano pump and nanobot are much better. For the grid, I use the 5% grid or the amarr navy repper. |

Or just go with pulses. You'll want to be in that range anyway for the tractor beams. Use a navpoc for the rare missions you don't want to salvage but to snipe. Parrots, commence!

I tried pulses and I prefer tachyons the 90% time. I only use pulses against angels or mercenaries (and I have a nightmare for that missions) ________________________________________

I use T2 Tachyons and an Amarr Navy LAR on my Paladin, that fits just fine. ------------ Improvize. Adapt. Overcome. |

^ This is probably the best combination. Not too expensive and gets pretty good efficiency. |

i prefer AN Tachs. They also 1 volley all Cruiser/BC, but use alot less cap. so you can put in more tracing stuff instead of cap modules. |
