I can buy keyrings, mugs, computers and posters in the store. This got me thinking (sitting around waiting for stuff to happen.)
A few nights ago a corp-mate complained he was running out of alcoholic beverages. This was not the first time I had heard this common complaint, and it got me thinking. Those small fridges you can buy for your recreation vehicles would be ideal.
With a little creativity, they could be made to look like a giant secure container. Heck, even a plain fridge with an EVE online logo on the side would sell.
So screw the t-shirts, mugs and resin-models of ships, we really need an EVE-online mini fridge to keep our chosen liquids nearby, and prevent beer-run related losses (you know of what I speak.)

Would be cheaper and simpler for all involved, if you buy your own fridge and have it custom painted.

I fit a cloak in fleet fights for that purpose alone. ppl hate me for it - but i need to enjoy my beer in conjunction with a working internet spaceship.

"All involved" includes me, so I disagree. It would be far simpler for me if CCP did all the work.
Personally I dont have the problem. My computer is in the kitchen area of my flat, so I can run over, grab a replacement lager and run back before I finish locking the target. My chief concern are the hundreds of players who have to run downstairs, push the kids out of the way, dodge wife-aggro, grab beer, open it, run up stairs only to find they have been left for dead by their mates.
In all seriousness, an EVE fridge might seem silly, but so are resin-models of ships to be honest.

And then we can have CCP make EVE-themed stationary bikes so people can burn off all those calories during fleet battles they gained by not walking over to their fridge

Hook it up to a dynamo and use it to power the fridge - if you want a cold beer, you've gotta burn off those calories first

I modded my cat to look like a tempest.
He did not look to happy about it but has no choice in the matter.
And I still need to work out how to keep the beer cool as its warm when I drink it. |

I keep beers on the windowledge, backup beers in the kitchen fridge and a further stockpile in the cellar. What's the problem?
You could also keep beers on ice in the bath or bathroom sink then you can grab one when you need a 'bio break'.

I'd gladly fork out some cash for a minifridge shaped like a secure can! :)
It'd have to have a metallic finish though. Not some cheap plastic surface. |
