How does one counter EWAR? A BC can be locked down by an assault frigate with EWAR, how does one counter this? ECCM doesnt work that well. What skills help reduce jamming chance? |

Are you sure you used the right ECCM for your ship type? An AF gets no EWAR bonus, it should be fairly crap at it. |

ECM should be more like warp scrams, if you fit against it your immune unless more then one of them are put on you. |

EWAR is a chance based effect not 100% it misses too scrams and points are 100% guaranteed to work unless the target has fitted warp stabs |

By whining about it. Blaming all in-game fails on it. Developing a movement with a catchy slogan like: Because of falcon!!!! Then sit back and wait for the nerf bat.
Don't believe? Proof:
1. NOS 2. Sensor Damps 3. ECM 4. (soon to be) Neuts

EWAR = Electronic Warfare ECM = Electronic Counter Measures (type of EWAR)
Drones and damps will work. |

Only ECCM can reduce jamming chance.
ECCM =Electronic Counter-Countermeasures Bit redundant don't you think? I Endorse this Product and/or Service https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=16580 |

A) what type of Ewar we talking about?
B)how was it used? were you ECMed with drones or a mod?
*Ewar is a whole bunch of things, as in the term is used for every thing from a warp scrambler to a target painter.
**ECM if its drones you need smart bombs/drones, as they already have a low chance they just shake lots of "dice" so you will need to kill the drones. Now if the mid slot mod was used the corect type of ECCM on your ship and there ship being an assult frigg you would be just fine as un bonused ECM is not very strong and hard for a frigg to fit a lot of. I am in Factional Warfare. Have been from day one.-á-áI will never work for a mega corp in null-sec. Do not make FW like null-sec.-áMake FW worth our time. Reword us for what we already do.Give us some more activities to do. |

1. Nerf probably had to be done to allow Amarr laser ships (ironically) to have a place in the game. Although one could argue that nos was rendered useless and neuts substituted in their place, when some other adjustments could have been made.
2. Wow, so one alliance tournament with everyone using damps in free mid slots created a heavy nerf and no simultaneous re-buff on specialized damp ships. Result, damps don't get used on those ships, they become solely long pointing ships. Noone wants to dedicate 3 mids just to shut down one BS or recon, and even then if it gets close enough . .
3. Yeah, so nerfed as far as non-dedicated boats. But unlike what happened with damp boats or web boats the ECm boats get simultaneous re-buffs (30% per level bonuses lol) making the ships still very powerful in small gang sized pvp. Because of Falcon was a slogan for those opposing ecm nerf. May have been successful. ECM boats were't rendered useless because of their rebuff. And of course what has the alliance tournament become but mostly drakes/tengus and ecm boats multiple times. So let's nerf neuts . .
4. Say what? yeah, there has been so much outcry about neuts ruining the game.

Off topic but both NOS and Neuts should have tracking.
The very idea of gigantic energy siphon dish or whatever on the battleship should not have similar issues like their turrets is strange.

That's probably fair, it's a bit ridiculous that a battleship can just completely counter a tackle frigate using a large module (neut).
Hell, give all the EWAR and energy emission stuff that's not AE some sort of tracking stat. |
