What is it, exactly, that stops them from doing the same as they do now, in the name of the Republic, staying loyal to the Republic? There is absolutely no law in the Republic that forbids declaring corporation wars, and absolutely no law against shooting down pirates in the border areas. There is, thus, absolutely no need to found a new Republic for that.
Of course there's a need to found a new republic. Puppets need to dance, Ms Rhiannon.

And the government in Pator might have been elected, but failed to represent the matari people and to lead them. But I am going astray here.
This call to battle, as I understood it, is exactly what it says: A call to battle. Correct me if I am wrong, to me it sounded like an individual pilots thing, not like the founding of just another "new" new republic. Do not let this amarr imp lure you into these ways of thinking.
Pray tell, where does your Republic benefit from war with the Amarr? We own over 40% of controlled space, we have countless private warships, the largest Navy in existence and more troups you could ever hope to defeat. We have been practicing war for over seven thousand years. When we descended upon San Matar, you could not offer resistance.. You were too weak. How, are you going to defeat us?
The only option your Republic has is to preserve the status quo. Perhaps try to get as many of your people free through non-hostile contact (as agression towards the Empire will be met with swift and terrible retribution). Your Prime Minister knows this. Your Tribal Council knows this. If the Republic goes to war, we will obliterate you.
Fragmenting your little fledgling Republic only serves our purposes. You divide your people and you think this is beneficial to your cause.
It isn't.

All the more reason for us paramilitary organisations to continue our offensive operations against the Amarr. The Republic is too weak to stand up to the Empire, so we have to do the fighting on behalf of our people.
All the more reason? Little boy, you're giving the Amarr a reason to kill you. We have an absurdly lenient ( , heh) Emperor, but if the Heirs cry out for vengeance, he will not be able to ignore them!
You might think you're doing this for a good cause, liberating slaves through militairy actions. I commend you for your tenacity, but it's not helping your cause.
Your constant agression, and the attempts to secede from the Republic only annoys the Empire more. At some point, you will cease to be a Nuisance and you'll be elevated to Target.
At that point in time, nothing can save you.
I'll tell you a little secret; the Amarr prey only on the weak. We have not yet attacked the Gallente or Caldari, because their militairy might is equal to ours. We attacked the Jove because we, foolishly, thought they were weak. Your little home system was very poorly defended, so we took it. The Ealur were weak, the Ni-kunni were weak, the Udorians were weak.
Fragmenting your own 'official' government body does not help you one bit. You will again be a weak people.
You were doing so well before the PRoM was founded..
Quote:
They will never get our people freed. As our slaver friends here will testify, the Amarr Empire will NEVER voluntarily give up their slaves.
Incorrect. Doriam Kor-Azor freed thousands of slaves already. There are countless millions more where they came from, but through diplomacy, they were released.

Did you not read the part about having the biggest navy, the most trained army, the countless of private warships and the seven thousand years of experience? It won't be an even playground, Phe0nix, it'll be a massacre. And there'll be nothing the Gallente or Caldari or Concord can do, because this time you will be the agressors.

Yes, exactly. Funny thing is, it works. With the Reclaiming on hold, you don't need to fear all-out open war from our side. The Empire seems quite content with the current situation.

Sick, dying, Vitoc dependant and un-useful slaves. The waste from the grinding machine that is the Amarr Empire.
Wow thanks, i suppose we should be kissing your feet for that one....
And what do you think you've been liberating all this time? Sick people, being transported in cargohold not even fit for swines. You rescue them, you say, and then, what do they do? I can guarantee you that many of them (if coherant) will simple want to live a quiet peaceful life somewhere. They don't want a war with the Empire, because they've seen, first-hand, the cruelty that we're capable of.

We have been fighting your race as the under-dogs since the first revolts of the Minmatar Rebellion, and have come a long way. We are now stronger than we have ever been, and grow more so every day.
No, you're not. You're still fragmented. Scattered. That's what I'm trying to tell you, you can't hope to defeat the Amarr if 1/3rd of your free people reside in the Federation as Gallente citizens, an entire tribe behaves like nomadic scoundrels (the Thukker) and your primary free fighting force (eg, not the Minmatar Navy) seceding from the Republic to form their own tiny lil enclave.
All the while, the Amarr simple point and laugh at you. There's no fragmentation in the Empire (apart from me, har, and possibly the Sarum family).
Gradient called for an oath of loyalty to the Republic, mere hours later the PRoM issued 'a Call'. This, to me, shows that your people's loyalties are divided.
Divide and conquer, comes to mind.

I won't deny that some of the poor souls we liberate are beyond our ability to rehabilitate. Some simply ask to be put out of their misery, other require years of counciling and a life-time of drugs to keep them sane. However, many more go on to lead constructive and happy lives- either peacefully in the Republic or other free space, or by joining our ranks and helping those who helped them. You would be suprised the number of slaves we have rescued who cannot wait for a chance to get revenge upon Amarrian slavers.
I'm sure they're itching to fight the Amarrians.

You are a paramilitairy organisation. CVA is a paramilitairy organisation, it's not an official part of the Empire's Navy. In fact, it's treated as just any other corporation.
