I'd like to thank Morning Manic, Kelduum and many others for doing what they do at Eve-University. I can't think of a better place for a new player to start than here. I've learned a ton since joining and will happily credit the fact that I'm still in the game to having been in the Uni.
Is it perfect? No. But I haven't found any another place with the numerous resources, willing members and learning opportunities available to new players. Good people, good fun and lots of opportunities. What more could you want?
I've recently graduated and moved on, but you never really leave the Uni. o7 Unistas.

As an old player, after waiting about 4 days to get an interview, got told that by joining eve uni as a high sp player i would be bored. Got told that players dont stick or join eve uni for long term. And that even if i mentionned willing to teach to new player, have them on my mission and all that, got told i should join agony instead to learn 0.0.
But hey its ok, just wanted to tell my experience with eve uni. Its good for new player, not sure about old experienced ones hehe.

It's true that we cater mostly to new players or to players who have been away from the game for some time and are looking to relearn the game. If you are interested in teaching, you can contact Dierdra Vaal or Alelsa.

Well it is time for me to move on to new challanges. I would like ot thank the UNI as without the Uni I would not be playing this game. The learning experiances that you gain from the UNI is respected throughout all regions of V-Space. If you are new and want to learn without getting scammed then the UNI is the place to go.
The UNI will teach you mostly all aspects of the game, But you have to ask and you also have to want to learn. EVE is not a game for people with little time in researching what you need to do to play the game. The game is not something you can learn in a week be the best at everything in a month. EVE takes time and that is what the UNI is there for . The game is taught to you by players who have done it and seen it. we are all volenteers to the Uni and we are here to help you learn.
So if you are New to the game or ready to quit the game because you dont understand it. Join EVE UNIVERSITY to learn about the game.
EVE UNI - THANKS and see you in space.

People are always moving on, trying to expand their possibilities in EVE. That is why we welcome new players, to try and share what those who have been in our ranks have given us: knowledge, friendship and blobs.

The Uni has been great for me, & all the knowledge that is passed on via old & new players alike is amazing. While I am now graduating to carve out my own place in New Eden, I hope to pass on some of that Uni spirit to others, encourage them to teach, or to join up if they are new. I cannot recommend them highly enough to new players.

E-Uni is always recruiting! Go to http://www.eve-ivy.com/wiki/index.php?title=Applying_to_EVE_University for more information on how to do this.
EvE University can teach you, the new player, how to get by in this awesome game called EVE Online. Don't be afraid to drop by in our Public Channel "E-UNI" if you want to join up, or have some questions answered. A foe without honour, is a foe already beaten. |

Many months into this game I'm still screwing up, still learning, definitely still skill-training, and Eve Uni has been fantastic. There's always something going on from classes to war fleets to mission or mining gangs. In Warcraft the old-school raid was 40 people. Here I've been in 200+ pilot fleets. Thanks to our leadership!

Uni is what really pulled me into EVE so that I realized all the great things the game has to offer, and all the wonderful people make playing worth while. Everything in EVE seems overwhelming at first, including the University, but stick with it and you'll be greatly rewarded.

Very happy I found Eve University early on in my Eve Career. I plan to be around for quite awhile. I really appreciate all the great advice I've received and the classes I've attended have been invaluable. I'd recommend Eve University to any new pilot. You simply can't go wrong.
