Can anyone post the fitting reqs and skills needed for the new scanner/probes currently on Sisi?...I can't get in-game for the next week :(

Core is 1pg/15cpu
Expanded is 1pg/220cpu
I think that's what I did, anyway.

Maybe marauders will now finally be useful? Not only wont it gimp you totally from fitting requirements, you also have so many spare high-slots that you don't give up a whole lot to actually fit a probe launcher

Core launcher can't fit combat probes, and thus can't probe ships, drones and structures.

So both Sisters versions of the launchers only save cpu now? I see they both have the same duration of 10 seconds... |

I suppose they could just delete them for you, probably a better solution than having several copies of the same BPO. Or better yet, don't change them at all and leave you with several useless BPO's. |

Actually they could just leave the bought blueprints unchanged. This will make them collectors items and as such suddenly have a value. |

Base activation/duration time for a Tech 1 Scan Probe Launcher: 600 seconds. Base activation/duration time for a Sisters Scan Probe Launcher: 450 seconds.
With my current skills (Cov-Ops IV, Astro IV, all other exploration skills at III) using an SoE Scan Probe Launcher, scan time is 158 seconds.
So I am on Singularity right now.
Base activation/duration time for a Tech 1 Expanded Probe Launcher: 10 seconds. Base activation/duration time for a Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher: 10 seconds.
With my skills in Exploration: My duration is down to 4.9 seconds.
So two things come out of this: Sisters Probe Launchers will be worthless, as they have no benefit compared to the T1 version.
All my exploration skills are worthless. Or so it seems until I can actually try to triangulate on an object.
I posted days ago that I was worried that all my SP invested in exploration would be useless. A dev responded saying "don't worry, your skills will still be relevant".
Somehow, I don't think reducing scan times from 10 seconds to 4.9 seconds is relevant. Thanks CCP.

So basically the Standard and Elite Navigation certificates are a load of bull**** then? The skills on the standard nav cert are my skill plan for the next 15 days, but if signature acquisition just dings the time down from 10s to . . . what? 6s? then I won't bother . . .
CCP clarification please: are these probe times reflective of what they will be in Apocrypha on release? Will signature acquisition be hours/days/weeks wasted for anyone thinking of training it? If so, can all those who trained it get some kind of SP compensation for another skill, seeing as the skill was once useful and now may be completely pointless? |

No no, that 150m odd ISK implant must be getting you almost a full second off. |

sigh, if the skills are as worthless as on sisi this will be a very nasty slap in the face to anyone who trained them.
ccp didn't take away tech 2 bpo because ppl had put effort into them, does effort spent trining skills and buying a faction launcher not count?
ps. i hate this 'noob freindly' attitude as the reason i loved the game was the small guy in a big universe feeling. every obsticle removed only serves to make the final goal more worthless as an achievement.
