Any news on the Black Ops BS? I remember hearing that they will be looked at in this patch. Or shall I sell my Sin and forget it ever existed?

might get some range bonus not sure they should be more useful for exploration espe with probe cov ops and a limited combat support good for long trips into hostile territory

I remember a dev stating that there wont be any changes to blackops. Meaning this and following patches...

Greyscale stated they are looking at the Black Ops along with other ships and how they might tweak them - items discussed included separate fuel bays, or creating covert ops cynos through cyno jammers. That said, so far nothing actually visible in the way of changes that I've seen. Then again getting onto Sisi at the moment is like pulling teeth. ___ My views may not represent those of my corporation, which is why I never get invited to those diplomatic parties... Sad that such a promising ship class ends up such a pile of ****. There was no shortage of suggestions about how to fix Black ops, so I can't understand why it's not had any attention. WTS Sin.

These are the two changes that have been mentioned by the CSM from the Iceland trip. However, it was also mentioned no time frame has been put on them.

Still pre-nerfed.
I.e. released as a steaming pile of uselessness, ignored for a while, talked about for a while, ignored some more, fixes almost implemented then forgotten about for another year.
So yes, sell it.

Totally agree. The frustrating thing is that it really wouldn't take that much to fix them. With the smallest of changes they could be useful in a lot of different ways.
CCP has elected to throw their efforts after adding features when the ones that they have remain unbalanced. I hope they're not developing a habit of leaving things half done.

I don't see why CCP can't implement even basic changes to Black Ops. Even just changing the values of the ship<s properties should be enough, eg use less fuel and go a bit further... two simple integers to change and would keep people happy while they work on something more concrete.
Originally by: CCP Tuxford Its been fixed. All in all its one of the more embarrassing mistakes I made, but it made game design laugh. Now lets never speak of this again.

Tbh the most frustrating thing for me is that they were actually released like this in the first place.
