What, you mean like the smartbomb camps on all the important hisec-lowsec shortcut gates?

403. Pantheon Carrier - Possible in a small fleet? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
That seems pretty rational. I personally think 3 is too few to really do a proper pantheon even with a single fit, but you could make an argument either way. You might want to add trimark pantheon to that list -- at a certain point, incoming alph...

Oh, trust me. Even if you leave slaves out of the equation, there's plenty of reasons to prefer armor tanked capitals to shield.

Sounds rather like the ECM drone issue they fixed a while back. I'm afraid I can't confirm the bug. Maybe someone else can?

410. Pantheon Carrier - Possible in a small fleet? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
It's basically the fit that I had tested out earlier. Three RR's per carrier with lowslots full of hardeners. As I said, You'll get about 7k EHP/s per carrier. Just FYI, you'll get better capacitor life if you just use three remote repair augmen...

411. Pantheon Carrier - Possible in a small fleet? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Older style Pantheon carriers used dedicated rigs and implant sets to generate their capacitor -- egress port maximizers for cap generation and remote repair augmentors to conserve it. In this style, you'd need at least two energy-fitted carriers ...

412. Capital ship skills entry level - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Honestly, the answer to these questions is "Ask your fleetmates." Carriers and dreads are gang ships, and they're fielded with a certain expectation of their capabilities. There's no point in having jump drive calibration 5 if you're the only pers...

Destroyers are useful enough to train to 1, yes. I wouldn't bother taking it any further unless you want to fly interdictors though. And if you want to fly interdictors, get an alt to do that. You don't want to be paying clone costs on an 80 mill...

414. Is a Gallente Destroyer (Catalyst) a good first step after frigates to learn fig... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I may get some disagreement here, but I'm personally of the opinion that destroyers are a trap. They look like a step forward for new players to advance from frigates, but every last one of them is extremely tight on fittings, has a gigantic signa...

416. Carriers and Triage GÇô Cap Boosters use? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
It's a little bit off topic, but cap boosters do have a niche application on travel fits. If you fit a bunch of T1 microwarpdrives, capacitor flux coils, and 3 cap boosters, you can get most jump capable ships back up to full capacitor within a fe...

417. Carriers and Triage GÇô Cap Boosters use? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Here's an important thing to remember. Capacitor recharge modules are not stacking penalized. Because of multiplicative effects, the last actually gives a larger absolute increase in your cap generation than the first does. On a ship like a tria...

418. Carriers and Triage GÇô Cap Boosters use? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
With perfect cap skills, two 3% cap implants, and mindflood drugs, a 2-rep/2-hardener triage carrier will generate 693 GJ/s. Dropping a cap recharger reduces that to 555 GJ/s. That's a difference of 141 GJ/s. Show me a cap booster that can give m...
