781. Why do people whine about amaar? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Eiskalt Actually... no I didnŠt. I used Quickfit like always. It might not be 100% accurate (Rigs e.g.) but nearly. So as you can see of course I did not forget about the ROF Bonus. And maybe my DPS is 704 with the Harbinger...

And even then it's 4 vs 5 guns. Or, with the respective ship boni, 5.33 vs 6.25 guns. And, of cource, 3 light drones vs 5 medium drones. No, offense, but I would place *anyone* who claims that the omen outdamages the throax in the "has no clue at...

784. Best way to counter a nano curse? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Exept that the curse pilot would kill those drones pretty quickly.

785. Why do people whine about amaar? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I think Eiskalt simply took the zealots dps with 4 guns as base to calculate the harbingers dps with 7 guns while forgetting that the zealot has a ROF bonus.

Originally by: Ryysa Well, I've taken down a nanocurse with said setup, yes, cap is slightly a *****, but when you see your scram might turn off, release one web, so he has to change speed to warp, then put the scram back on and re-dual we...

790. Should upgrades skill apply? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
They are the "basic" versions. The base t1 unnamed module in variations is "basic signal amplifier". There is also a "basic co-processor" and "basic sensor backup array" which do not need the EU skill.

Edited by: Aramendel on 08/07/2007 16:22:54 Vaga has the same problem as a huginn, out of cap in 15 secs. And as added bonus if the curse damps him while he is still above 8k distance the vaga will need around 35 secs to lock the curse in the ...

Edited by: Aramendel on 08/07/2007 15:17:29 Not sure if it will fit gridwise. It will be most likely better to downgrade to small guns - those will work better while speedtanking anyway (tracking). And drone nav comp is a med slot item. Would...

Edited by: Aramendel on 08/07/2007 13:11:27 Killing - solo the only real way would be a huginn or rapier with 3 damps or 2 damps + 2 damp rigs. Lock the curse first, web & damp it and stay at least at 23k distance = dead curse. However if it...

Edited by: Aramendel on 08/07/2007 09:38:50 In theory the dual MAR one. The curse has not enough base HP to make higher resistance outweight higher regeneration. In practise the cheaper one since you will die pretty quickly with either setup ...

799. Sensor Boosting Remote Sensor Dampeners û WTF? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
It's no "hidden bonus", your corpmate is flat out wrong. The problem is the very high falloff of damps. Falloff behaves just like with turrets, do something beyond your optimal in the falloff and you have a reduced chance to "hit". For EW this is...
