1581. Stacking Remote Sensor Damps II - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: VJ Maverick What effect do dampening drones have on the figures? If used along with RSDs? What if just drones are used and no RSDs? If you use *only* drones it would be identical as to RSDs, just that instead the -64.9% ...

1582. Rapier and webbing... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Aramendel on 09/02/2007 17:28:14 No, it's a bit more complicated. A webbed ship needs just as much time from 0-100% speed as an unwebbed ship. If you web a ship which is not moving atm it needs just as much time to get into warp as ...

1583. Stacking Remote Sensor Damps II - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Aramendel on 09/02/2007 17:03:17 Base reduction of RSD2s is -48%, meaning a ship has 52% of it's targeting range left if you use one of it. Skills reduce it further. The full ship bonus from the lachesis reduce it by 25%, lvl 2 in t...

1584. Tactics versus Nanoships (BS Sized) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
True, haven't thought about snakes vs talisman implants, was thinking more along lines of t2 vs t2 or faction vs faction or snakes vs snakes. With talis vs snakes the phoon will have to flee, but with the others there IMO a good possibility that ...

1587. Anyone killed a Nano BS?? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Victor Ivanov Why not put more emphasis on the anti speed ships? Because it won't work, mainly because they also counter themselves pretty nicely. It's pretty similar to the ECM-ECCM situation pre-kali. ECCM countered E...

1588. Anyone killed a Nano BS?? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Victor Ivanov However, to defend my reasoning for doing this: A nanoship is, in my opinion, made to be used in 0.0. Yes, but this does not stop them to be build in empire. actually, of all BS (and most cruiser and BC) se...

1590. Tactics versus Nanoships (BS Sized) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Depends. If neither ship has a web the nanoBS will be able to get within range since it is faster than the curse with equal equipment lvl. So damps only force the nanobs to come close (15-18k if it has a sb2 fitted), but it definately can hit back...

Two thing to note about the astronautic rigs. - the disadvantage might be logical, but gamebalance wise it is a very weak disadvantage. For setups which focus on speed that IS their tank, so less armor does not really hurt them. It's like if shie...
